You look amazing in pink! I love this video, I think sometimes, we get scared to be silent because society portrays it as weakness and failure to stand up for yourself. I used to argue a lot with my siblings over everything and they knew they couldn't get a conversation going with me because I was always trying to prove myself right. But after I started learning about femininity, being soft, being silent, it's like I became I knew person. My brothers appreciate me more and even when we have differing opinions, I always try to understand them and be kind still. Also, being silent about what im up to has helped me achieve many goals as compared to the times when I shared all plans. It's not been easy being this way, but it's one of the best things to experience. Thanks again for reminding us the importance of this rare gift.
@kharyzma4u Жыл бұрын
Thanks for this video. In the past year the Lord prompted me to start moving in silence a little more. I discovered that with some people, if I wasn't the one initiating a conversation, we really had nothing to talk about. All along it was me initiating a topic. When I stopped talking as much, some people felt uncomfortable that I wasn't sharing so much about myself and they were now scrambling to find something to say. So it taught me that there needs to be a balance of two people sharing in a conversation. Silence is very powerful.

This was such a great video. I’m married now, but back when I was dating I remember a scenario where being more observant and talking less revealed that the man was not for me! When I first met him I was so talkative and was over sharing. However my girlfriend told me to stop doing that and to speak less and listen more. On the next date I did just that. Guess what? This man had NO ability to start or carry conversations. In fact he was so anxious and didn’t know what to do bc I wasn’t over sharing and I wasn’t initiating all conversations. This was a quick red flag 🚩 Silence can be so so insightful when dealing with others. Thanks Dr. Daf

Love this video especially about not interrupting when my man or others are speaking. This has been my struggle, it's because I want to get my thoughts in and I don't mean to be disrespectful however I do understand that if they feel disrespected then my intentions don't matter much. First I would like to say you look like a human doll Motherhood looks great on you! 💓💗💖💞💕Your silence videos are such a blessing..I have been working on it since you last “silent” video 3 years ago it does work and attract high quality people just not men..now I’m working on not commenting on things on IG that I oppose to.. I, Alia Dixon AM a feminine meek kind respectful woman who listens to the Holy Spirit.. I have changed my paradigms unfortunately my mother had to be masculine because our dad went along his partying good time life leaving my mother to fend for us and she was masculine (always wanted to get her point across so her voice could finally be heard) Bless my mother she did the best she could do but I AM now a feminine woman When you know better you do better 🙏🏿

Happy Mother's Day Michelle! You are so beautiful and feminine in your pink wardrobe! I especially love your eye makeup! Thank you for this value video. The key thing I have had to work on is to stay silent and not interrupt those I am comfortable with. I saw a lot of family members interrupting each other when I grew up. I was very silent then but when I got older, I was worried I wouldn't get a chance to speak. A lot of times I know what they are going to say, but I cannot assume that. I would worry I would forget something I wanted to tell them, and interject. I have been working on this for the past year, and your videos have been a wonderful reminder to keep at it! If I take a deep breath, it helps me get more comfortable with staying silent and properly wait for when it is time for me to speak. Adversely, I used to be silent and not speak up when I was in an abusive situation, but I learned that I was harming myself by not speaking up.

One of the biggest mistakes I've made is thinking it was my job to impress men by telling them all about my accomplishments, goals, and ideas. It screams, "Look at me, pay attention to me, love me! How could you not when I'm so WORTHY and ACCOMPLISHED. I have so much to offer, I bring so much to the table!!" It's horrible. I think educated women like myself who are eager to please can really struggle with this after getting validation from these things all our lives in school and work. We're so used to having to prove ourselves and our worth that we think these things matter a lot more than hey actually do in dating. I get so wrapped up in wondering about how my date feels about me instead of relaxing into the moment and into my own body. I am going to be praying to god for the ability to know when to keep my mouth shut going forward.

You can and should be. But with regard to gender differences in marriage, men value respect and see it as love whereas women value being cherished and see it as love. It like having a right and left hand. Both are needed but one is dominant. I'll talk more about this in the future because it takes more teaching to fully understand. Thanks for watching 💕
