My insanely good feeling came from never visiting the barber shop again. After decades of throwing away money on cuts and tips, I shaved it off. As a result, saved 1000s of dollars. But I do understand the good from starting out at a barber shop for an initial shave to pick up tips for your specific head. Kind of like a liftoff of a rocket to the moon.

Harry I just want to let you know that I am incredibly grateful and I love your channel and back up everything you say 110%! We did a podcast together a few years ago where I was depressed with scars along my hairline and donor area from suergery that I had at 18 and at that time I rocked a buzzed look with SMP to 'try and hide' the scars. Ultimately I ended up having hair restoration and now my scars finally these scars are hidden for good. So too are the memories of a young 18 year old who panicked and raced off to get a punch graft hair transplant. My opinion is still the same to this day and that is do not get a hair transplant. I was a Norwood 7 and so I ended up having 15,761 grafts over three surgeries almost three years ago mainly to hide those scars. Half of those grafts are beard grafts. I am more than happy with the results HOWEVER if I never had the previous scars then I would never have had the current hair transplants. I want people to know that getting up in the morning and buzzing your scalp is done in less than one minute. No shampoos, conditioners, hair products, no medication for life, no expensive hair cuts and not having to spend tens and tens of thousands of dollars for surgery, etc. I cannot stress enough to your followers that buzzing your head today is a great look that was not a great look almost forty years ago. Today you need to wear a suit to buzz your head. What's in vogue at one time falls out of vogue in another and vice versa. Again I want to congratulate you for being a lot more emotionally intelligent than I was and I still love watching and following your channel and the many lives that you educate, empower and give back to. All the best, Adrian! 🙂

I personally feel like everyone's on their own journey with baldness, for me I just felt I didnt look right bald, it didnt look bad just not right for me. Love this channel so much..watched it for years & it helped me so much. All the videos seem to cover the aspects of going bald/being bald/thinning/losing hair or receding hair. The entire point seems to be about not giving a toss what other people think..that’s it in a nutshell. It’s about having confidence in yourself and believe me.. it works. I’m in the entertainment industry.. so appearance is a thing. But people are far more interested in what I do rather than how many hairs I have on my head or not!! Most women/men don’t care if you have hair as much as you think.. And if someone is only interested if you have hair or not, then they ain’t interested in YOU! As my wife says.. I didn’t marry your hair! Bottom line is.. don’t give a monkeys what people think.. you be happy, confident, kind, friendly.. and that becomes your attractiveness..not your hair. Thanks for a brilliant channel 👍

I went to the barber this Saturday to shave my head. At first I wanted to do it myself but then thought, why not? I deserve some treatment and I had a barber do it. head trim, close foil shave, then beard trim and hot towel/straight razor to tidy it all up. Was the best decision I could have made because afterwards I felt absolutely amazing and taken care of because you know you are in the hands of a pro who does this every day multiple times a day, he has seen every scalp under the sun, and once he was done I knew that I looked the best I could. I go to my local, traditional British barbershop (run by an Italian) and get a full headshave. I usually do this on a Saturday after Karate. My barber shop feels more like a gentlemans club. It feels so good to be pampered. First a shaver is used, the a hot towel wrapped round my head. After a few minutes a get a wet head shave with warm shaving cream. Then it's a beard trim and shave, followed by face mask and a shampoo and aftershave to finish. Great experience.

I don't get why bald men go to the barber/hairdresser, a close shave all over is something anybody with hands (and maybe feet) can do. Save your money. BTW DO NOT remove your nose hair, not sure you heard about the "triangle of death", but here's a quote from an article "The term "triangle of death" refers to the area of the face that includes the nose and upper lip. This region is highly susceptible to infections because the veins that drain this area are connected to the veins at the base of the brain. Plucking nose hairs can create an entry point for bacteria, which can travel through these veins and potentially cause life-threatening conditions such as cavernous sinus thrombosis, cellulitis, or meningitis. These infections are rare but can be extremely dangerous, particularly for individuals with weakened immune systems."

I'm kind of a different case. I knew I had good hair genetics: my mom's father and grandfather lost their hair young, and so did my cousin. Didn't happen to me. My dad didn't start losing hair until his early 60's. I had no visible kids at 50. But all of my male friends have been losing hair for years. So when mine started to finally thin a few years ago, I truly felt like I finally had my man card. I was sick of my friends saying I had the same hairline I had in college. I get how bizarre this may sound, because I totally feel the pain of every guy who loses their hair, since I've been preparing to lose it since high school. It didn't happen. I honestly felt bad that I had great hair and all of my friends didn't. So when it finally started I was actually kind of happy and I just buzzed it off. Please don't feel like I'm trying to rub it in. I honestly reached a point in my life where I wanted to be like the other guys and when I buzzed it off. I was ready for this to happen from my teens on - because everyone said you follow your mother's father, when you really follow your dad, for the most part. I feel like I can look every guy my age in the eye now. I like this, and I truly wish this contented feeling on all of you who hate it. Don't. Embrace it. It's one of the things that make men, men.

@@kylerpowell3590 It is what it is. Run with it. Go to the gym. Get some muscles. Wear nice clothes. Stand up straight and be a hot bald guy. You have your arms and legs and your fingers and toes. That's what counts. Hair is just dead skin, ya know? It should be totally unimportant. Easier said than done, I know. But act like a hit bald guy. When you believe you are, others will see you that way. Go look at pictures of Kelly Slater. He's pretty perfect. Aspire to be like him in your head. Or Bruce Willis in Die Hard.

Maintaining a bald head sounds like more work than maintaining and styling hair if you weren't going bald at all. So the people that say being bald is less maintainence are clearly lying

@Justsomeone100003 ай бұрын
Not true. I was bold had two hair transplants and will probably have a 3rd. You can't beat having hair. The difference it made in how women reacted to me was a day and night. People always told me being bold looks good on you but the reaction from women tells you a different story. It's bull. Unless your the rock a rich movie star you can't beat having hair and being in shape. Yes going to the barbershop may bring you up for while when there, but it means nothing outside in the real world. If you can't get transplant then look into a hair system.
@Baldcafe3 ай бұрын
Not to come across disrespectful mate but but just because you couldn’t, doesn’t mean other people can’t. Going bald didn’t work for you doesn’t make anything in this video not true.
@johna4263 ай бұрын
Maybe you didn't have the confidence to pull it off. If you couldn't love yourself, then others will feel that energy and won't either. Many women won't be into a man wearing a wig which is still technically what a transplant is. Hiding the fact you lost your hair. It works from both perspectives.
@itsalexhere87483 ай бұрын
I had a hair system for 7 months leading up until may of this year when I shaved it all off. As a 22 year old I can tell you attracting uni aged women went through the roof when I got it, however I felt so insecure. Shaving it off has made me feel better about myself and it's not as if I'm repulsive to women now. If you can talk to women then having hair isn't make or break. If you have no game, confidence or other physical traits then sure you will be screwed
