I use my old Ironite Plus hose end bottles to spray my Urban Farms liquid lawn. It's a 5k coverage sprayer so I add 5 ounces of liquid lawn and top with warm water. For large areas I use a 4 year old Sta-Green weed and feed hose end bottle. It has a nice super wide fan pattern. It covers 7500 sq ft so I add 7.5 ounces to it with warm water. My Chameleon sprayer got used once and I threw it in the shed.

@@Philthaentrepreneur I am in Grand Prairie Tarrant Count. ;owdy neighbour! Look into Doc's super juice. He was a Big fan of this liquid lawn mixed with other product's. Anyway he brought out 'Super Juice' on Amazon that is all the products he used combined with Humic and what not. There are plenty of videos on how to use it. Agreed a bit pricy BUT one bag can take you a long way if used as a supplements to feed the plant while using your organic fertilisers to feed the soil. Anyway check it out. Ps they are sold out now because it runs like sweet cake but he said will have by 16th again in stock.

I'm a fan of Fish fertilizer and Kelp because of the trace minerals, it just stinks to the high heavens. I found Bare Ground Fish Hydraslate at Amazon and its low-cost as compared to other brands and my vegetable garden even responded to it quite well. I use a qt of the liquid fish per 16K every month and a single application of NEXT for the kelp/Humic and the grass really looks better than last year using Milwaukee Poop. Definitely don't take a sip of that Bat GUANO tea!

BYD, once I spray crabgrass with your Quinclorac/weed stop mix, then what? Leave the dead crabgrass and the bermuda will overtake it? Cover it with top soil? Dig it out? Help me out please.

InDatParish if it dying or dead 💀 just mow as normal, if the yard still has a lot of other weeds then bag it up as you mow.

Please tell me/us, how in the hell can I get rid of St.Augustine grass? I live in MS and it seems to EVERYWHERE at people's homes or at least that what looks like, with Bermuda being at some of the bigger family farms around here almost exclusively it seems like. The only semi good idea's I have found is smothering it with broken down boxes from grocery stores or by using a tarp to smother/scorch it during the spring/summer seasons or just using a sod kicker (which I don't have access to). Any advice someone could give would be greatly appreciated! I've already got a couple bare spots filled in with Bermuda and I love it but I really want it to spread like it should but that St.Augustine just smothers it.

Aeration breaks your pre emergent barrier though, and welcomes more weeds. Sure it feeds the grass faster, but at the expense of more weeds being able to break through your now destroyed barrier. Using Air8 liquid aeration is what I do, and only mechanically aerate in fall. Love the vids, no disrespect intended, but I contemplated aerating this spring and didn't want weed fest to return.

BYD if that common Bermuda goes to seed will the seeds be viable?
@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral5 жыл бұрын
julio CS no, the seed heads on most of the seeds you buy in the store are sterile. It will do what it naturally does but unfortunately mankind has altered this product for profit.if the seed heads were viable then you wouldn’t need to keep buying 😟
@juliocs54835 жыл бұрын
These are actually Seedheads from natural occurring CB ...reason I ask is because I like to mulch my clippings but don't want these to end up in my St Augustine. Ty

@BYD I've used the chelated iron before and had trouble with it clogging my hose end sprayer. Do you have any tips. I was using the Ortho dial n spray, also a reused spectracide bug killer hose end sprayer. Check out the Anuvia GreenTrx organic/synthetic fertilizer. It's a 19-1-2 analysis which only costs about $25 bucks for a 50lb bag. It works great, I switched to that this season because Milo cost too much. Great vids keep up the good work!!

BYD, I am looking to get a DARK GREEN bermuda, I've used Lesco 24-0-11 for a while now mixed with Milorganite with regular green results. How can I get the dark dark green look?
@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral5 жыл бұрын
+Smooth Wind I don’t really know. You can always experiment with adding a lawn tea. But the 24-0-11 with 3 percent iron and the Milo is what I did last season. Do a soil test and see if you phosphorus level is to high. I’m sure it’s a way though.
@mr.greenthumb42935 жыл бұрын
I heard it’s not recommended to aerate while having a irrigation system. What do you recommend for the people who do have a irrigation system and not able to aerate there lawn?
@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral5 жыл бұрын
+Dietrick McKinney those who have a sprinkler system have a big advantage for those who don’t. By all means aerate if you have one. Just water 💦 deeply 48 hours before you aerate and while doing that mark off sprinkler heads and control box with flags. Now when installed the lines should’ve been buried at least six inches deep. Most rented aerators plug only 3 inches. So if your system was installed correctly then aerate away Dietrick 👍🏾
@Armurp013 жыл бұрын
BYD is right...flag off the heads and control valves, I aerated with a sprinkler system.....did a weed and feed then watered it in with a sprinkler system.....def have leverage with irrigation.
