Ryobi, that's my BRAND ALSO! 😂😊 But I didn't know that they had an auto spreader. I'm using a turn it buy hand, winding it. Scotts Turf Builder Weed And Feed, killed every weed in my lawn. I noticed that all of my neighbors had weeds etc.. But one last summer I put it down during the summer and didn't know any better. My dad has been a Grass King forever, but I had forgotten. He told me why my grass burned like it did. Your video is going more into detail about why my grass burned (HIGH NITROGEN) THANKS MY BROTHA!

@@Los714 No. It did get a little darker but not like you'd think with 6% iron. I believe it has some slow realase ingredients so it may take a little longer. It has some stuff in it to help the soil so I do like that. Last year I used PGF Complete 16-4-8 and liked it but it's expensive. Just a heads up on the sta-green max, I used it today I was a little weary about it reading many negative reviews about clumps but figured they probably were the usual clumps that you can just squeeze out this was not the case they’re actually hard rock fertilizer pepples that range from 1/4”-1.50” that can’t be broken up you actually have to siphon through the fertilizer and pick ‘em out or they’ll stop the spinning wheel from turning. I was only able to fill the hopper half way to make it easier to see the clumps and remove them still not sure how it’s going to perform but the process took double the time to spread 🥵
@LawnAmateur5 ай бұрын
Was the bag wet prior? Because sometimes they get wet at Lowe's. I always pick through the bags to find a good bag
@pit49555 ай бұрын
@@LawnAmateur no, has nothing to do with moisture or condensation actually the bag is very strong plastic this is coming right from the plant seems sta- green has a poor quality control department, many people complain about the same dark brown rock hard clumps has nothing to do how the store is displaying it just bad material.

You can go with the higher nitrogen fertilizer that's totally fine. It'll be May and temps are only going to warm up from here
@HunterTN6 ай бұрын
A good tool to have is a cheap postage scale, that way you can weigh the product and put down exactly what the bag calls for. With the low number slow release stuff it's not as big a deal, but the with higher concentration fertilizers or pesticides/herbicides you can mess things up quickly.
@LawnAmateur6 ай бұрын
I normally do that but since this fertilizer was so light in nitrogen and non burning I didn't bother
