Great video. I was a fastpitch catcher in my teens and now that I'm an adult playing slow pitch I'm playing 3rd base. These fundamentals are really helpful!

Only thing on the infield instruction…. The hands need to be slight thumbs up and at a 11 to 5 angle or 1 to 7 depending if ur reading it from the players perspective or the coaches… otherwise pretty good info… just a small detail that will relax your hands a little more.

Has fundamentals changed that much in 5 years Gamin Gal?....I think not. Some people forget the basics to the game and some never teach them.

Gamin Gal I am. Love me some fundamentals! Doing a small class tonight for a few brand new 12u rec player's. Freshening up on the basics.

Gamin Gal I am. Joined a slow pitch rec league with my wife this year. I never played baseball other than random sandlot games when I was a kid so this is helpful.

I watched in 2018, and coming back again in 2019. I played baseball growing up, but help coach my daughter’s softball team. Always trying to learn more about the game to pass on to these 12u players.

A great fundamental foundation was instilled in me , it’s something that never leaves u and every other facet of the game is built off of them. It even translates into other areas of different sports as well. Footwork is paramount to any great athlete. I’m coaching now and the fundamentals i learned 30yrs ago still apply and are the basis I build off of. It’s always good to learn new techniques and drills to accomplish the same goal. If ur not learning, u become stagnant, if ur stagnant u become irrelevant, if u become irrelevant stick a fork in urself cause ur done.
