Spending the day with John was fantastic. I learned so much and had fun. What fundamentals did you learn from the video that you didn't know before? Aaron

Aaron, intellectually you nailed it. Now get out there and mix it up on a paintball field - getting hit makes a great reinforcement on static theory - happy hunting!

Does that apply to real warfare ?

I still remember John yelling at me "Vary your use of cover!!!" way back at his days with the Telluric Group. Good lessons stick with you.

Good instructions. The enemy must not see anything from your body, only the weapon appears, speed in shooting, and check all weapons before training so as not to get into trouble. Greetings to you

Respect to Aaron for having the humility to demo this. Great stuff!

Brooooooo.... I've been watching videos and reading tactics about shooting from cover and with obstacles but you just beat all of them combined in the first few minutes. None of them, nor myself, ever thought of being the enemy/bad guy. That is just a perfectly awesome and simple idea. Me and my Bros are about to go try this out and I've got my tripod for a camera also. Thank you so much for these videos.

Much respect for putting yourself out there on camera and still looking better than many of us would have! Putting in the work is 💯 better than everyone else who isn't on the range.

Thanks Freedom and Bacon! That’s quite the name, I now have a sudden urge to eat bacon and run through town carrying old glory 😎Aaron

@@gouldshooting Then my work here is done! 😆 I have a few definitely-not-fancy videos on my channel about raising pigs, chickens, making maple syrup, heating with firewood, and my family whom we teach about the Lord and the ideals of this country. I also have a range and hunt on my property but don't have videos on that. Thank you to you and Steve for all the content you share as Christian men who put their minds to being really good at something while being solid family men. I've followed you guys for years and love the fun and positivity you both bring. God bless!

Thanks as always for the teaching video !! You mentioned it, but didn't work through it, switching shoulder mounts when switching from left to right and visa versa. Cuts exposure big time. God Bless you and your family, keep standing for Freedom and doing what your doing.

Wow, extremely informative presentation thank you. I tried recording my shooting from cover positions and noticed a few things: 1. it's awkward & time consuming for me to get a sight picture when shooting from the opposite shoulder but absolutely necessary to minimize exposure. 2. Kneeling from cover and popping out is the smallest possible silhouette but moving from kneeling is awkward. 3. I run a red dot with an upper 1/3 cowitness riser. When I would appear from cover my offset is so high that I can see the target clearly but my round would have hit the cover/concealment instead. This was fixed by John's idea to keep the rifle straight instead of canting.

I hear what your saying. It is awkward and slow if your not use to it. But it’s easy to get comfortable with if done repetitively. Keep training. 👊Aaron

OOFTA! Erin is a natural at the shooting range but like so many, work in progress in actual force on force situations. For some, spending a few days playing speedball (paintball) or airsoft with 300 fps projectiles is the best teacher.
