Just know taller people only have the advantage of reach and power within that reach but if you’re shorter you have the advantage of being low so you could take taller fighters down easier and if you have head movement and footwork it’ll be actually a advantage because as a taller fighter it’s harder to dodge shorter fighters punches

Do you think a young adult who has never trained in fighting can hold their own in a street fight against someone who normally street fights, if they practice boxing for 6 months
@R.C.Leonidas
@R.C.Leonidas Жыл бұрын
@@trendsettaswavey5833 the best answer I could give you is depends. If you go 6-7 times a week depending on the schedule and put in hard work yes. But if you’re average and actually have things to do and only go 3 times a week within that 6 months I’ll tell you all your training at that point is in vain. Also you could add in a factor that most people that got into a lot of fights don’t get any better than their 3rd fight or if they do barely. I know people who gotten into a lot of fights without training and still can’t fight. Edit: to be more clear if you’re the average person training in boxing for 6 months, your training is in vain but if you’re some natural, rare breed from Sparta then yeah
@trendsettaswavey5833

@@R.C.Leonidas thanks for the quick reply. So to clarify a beginner young adult who trains 6-7 times a week for 6 months should be able to hold their own against people who normally street fight
@R.C.Leonidas
@R.C.Leonidas Жыл бұрын
@@trendsettaswavey5833 and if you’re some rare breed that’s a natural fighter which usually never happens. When you say hold your own I get this thought of just being able to have a pretty solid fight win or lose. In that context I’d say yes but if you mean win the fight 99% of the time you’re looking at 1 year of training at a gym with a couple of hard sparring rounds in you(around 20) then yeah you’d absolutely destroy any average guy without training.

Students bullied me badly so finally one of those guys started hooker punches on me and I received at least 8 to 12 hooked punches. I have to say my face was cooked up badly but the bully guy somehow could not knock me off. I must say somehow I have managed to give some upper cuts and punches too.
