If you MIG weld with CO2 you can invert a vapor withdrawal CO2 cylinder to dispense liquid. How you anchor the CO2 cylinder safely is your choice but if you're a competent welder a suitable fixture or modified cylinder cart is easy to fab. I use my CO2 cylinders for welding, to run pneumatic tools in the field (see commercial power tank kits for how, but I refuse to overpay for those as it's just industrial gas high pressure plumbing for which Western etc sell fittings and whips), and to fill paintball cylinders for light portable work. One can never have too much CO2.

I have a similar system, but I have noticed that I do not get more than a 75% fill on the smaller containers, and the larger tank won't fill bottles when there is still CO2 in the tank. How would you remedy this without having some sort of air compressor? I am not able to completely drain the CO2 in my larger cylinders by using the system that you show.

Chill the bottle in a freezer prior to filling. Same goes for refilling disposable propane cylinders.

Hi, I have the same filling station, but my tank has no diptube, so I flip it upside down. I follow the steps from the video, but my canister gets filled only to 50%. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

What is the pressure difference between the large bottle and the small bottle? It seems a little irresponsible to show this to people when one can buy large co2 cylinders filled to 200bar.

noooooo, you need specialty HPA Canisters for compressed air. they're upwards of 2500PSI and that'll blow CO2 tanks. co2 need less PSI to function. But Air can be used with the right gear. Hope this helped!

compressed air is extremely dangerous and the average pressure in a tank is MUCH greater than c02. JUst go to your local gas/welding distributor and pick up a tank of o2
