Hi! I’m planning to move out with 3 other people. Someone doesn’t even have credit score at all, would he be able to fill out an application? Also I barely just started my credit , and I haven’t had my credit card for too long so I currently don’t have a credit score. Am I disqualified?

It all depends on the property manager. In some cases, managers are fine with no credit if you make plenty of income, good rental history, and have no other issues. Other companies, may require a minimum credit score and not be willing to compromise. Landlords that manage their own property may be more flexible. A common rule is that anyone over 18 needs to complete an application and have a background check completed, so you should expect that everyone will need to complete an application. A good strategy is to tell the property manager up front that you pay cash and either don't have a credit score or are just starting to the process. Honesty is best, and they may be willing to work with you since you were upfront. You could also offer to pay extra security if they have an issue.

Hi, if I am a college student with a part time job I would still fill out my employment status and still have a co-signer, correct?
@tenanttag6502 жыл бұрын
Yes, let them know about your status as a student, job situation, and willingness to have a cosigner. They will obviously want to know why you need a consignor, and you being in school explains it. Good luck!

Can we use our income taxes
@tenanttag6502 жыл бұрын
You will need to ask the property manager if your tax return is acceptable. If not, a bank statement may be accepted. The best option is pay stubs if possible.

Thank you for this. My wife and I are hoping to move out of our current location closer to my work. Its been a tough time as due to Covid, I was unemployed for a while. This video is extremely helpful in explaining the process.
