Great job!! Notice how he did NOT wash the fillets with water after they were cut. A properly bled fish fillet should never be washed. It degrades the fillet and causes spoilage.
@RAHfishing5 жыл бұрын
Yes never was the fillet thats a giant no no. 🤙

@@RAHfishing It seems a majority of anglers do not appreciate this simple fact. I will not be surprised if someone chimes in here and says he washes fillets all the time and has never had a problem.

Thanks for the instructional video. Someone actually video taped and posted me watching your tutorial while filleting my first Ono. I think it’s under rick henning. By the way I can’t figure out where you sell your lure heads.

Hey you brothers and sisters I'm not trying to steal anybody's Thunder but filleting a wahoo is the same as filleting any other other fish on the planet, you either get the simple part of filleting a fish or you don't there's no special way to fillet a wahoo okay !!!!! again not trying to steal your thunder but please wake the freak up please it's a fish, you fillet it, like everybody okay people okay!?

Can wahoo be eaten daily or is there a mercury dietary precaution?
@RAHfishing5 жыл бұрын
The best way to explain mercury poisoning would be to look at it like a coffee cup. You can fill it as much as you want. But once you get too much and it overflows thats when you run into problems. My friend got sick and had diarrhea and vomiting for 2 weeks straight. Nothing the doctors could really do for her. Now she eats fish but sparingly. From what I've read about it everyone handles it differently and some people will never get sick. I would eat it daily if I had it.

Again I ask, what is the fascination with filleting? Why spend the time & waste the meat? Chop it into steaks, cook it, pull on one bone & they all come out.
