Great timing on this video. Its definitely something I’ve been struggling with as a new vlogger without an insanely talented possey to help me take epic b-roll of myself. I use the goby gorilla tripod as well. Just need to get more creative with it. What I’d really love pointers on are more creative movements capturing b-roll for slow-mo segments.

Cool vid but I did notice that the 6D mk2 usually looks soft to me compared to the GH5 which is always super sharp once it achieves correct focus

Love your videos! I have a question I’m sure you get this a lot we are an outdoor family! Can anyone help me with this question: Why not shoot at 60fps all the time so that if you didn't know at the time of shooting that you wanted to make the scene 'slow mo', then you have the option....versus shooting at 24fps and not have the option to slow it down because you don't have enough frames (and you don't want to remap the video speed percentage). Would a 60fps clip placed into a 24fps sequence be the same as 24fps straight out of camera?

Yes the 5Ds dont do continually auto focus. Try the 6D mark 2!
