Absolutely, hiring a lawyer is a must, if you want your case approved. Even the most astute person wouldn't know all the legal terms and requirements. You can't do everything yourself, you don't know what you don't know.

Hi there, My husband is a Us citizen and he applied for my I 130 in August 2019. Our case is in NVC right now and we are now confused because NVC keep asking us to submit proof of assets though we never mentioned any assets in affidavit of support ( my husband's) except his total income. What we did mention is my mom's in law assets and her proof of assets. She was our joint sponsor but then NVC directed us to change her to a household member. What should we do now ? We desperately needs to be together please guide us

Please can you briefly explain, are there any changes on a ten year bar? I have filed a U visa application. I have my I-30 approved, I have lived in United States for 2 decades, I have 2 Us born citizen children. 2 boys ages 24, younger one is 17 senior in high school. My Mom going through Alzheimer's she is in a nursing home. Are there any increased number of U visa approvals. My wife is going through severe depression and anxiety, having multiple medical conditions.I can't live without my family. My family needs me, my mom's Alzheimer's getting worse. When can I apply for a 10 bar waiver? And what are my chances of UVisa. Sincerely Thank you.

Hi, I was deported back in 2004 for life (I think). I was a U.S. permanent resident and lived in the U.S. for nearly 30 years. I arrived in the U.S. with my parents in 1976. Currently I have been living in Mexico for the past 17 years. My whole family is in the U.S. My question is, what can I do to go back legally? I was convicted for an aggravated felony (not drugs nor sexual charges) and deported in 2004. What are the steps to start a process in getting back to the U.S. legally? Can I get a pardon? Or a permit to visit at least? I work as a Spanish/English Interpreter over the phone helping people all over the U.S. Please help. Thank you.

Hi, Thank you for your very informative videos, could you please answer my question: I have a permanent green card. I left USA in match8 2020 when pandemic started and was only able to come back to USA in November 2020 because there were no flights due to pandemic. So It appears like I left USA for more than 6 month. The machine on the boarder criss crossed my green card. The officer asked me some questions but he let me in. Now I’m still in USA but need to visit my relatives(up to 3 month). The question: as the machine on the border has crisscrossed my green card how do I find out if it’s ok? Is my green card still valid? I’m scared to leave USA as I don’t know what to expect when I’m back. I’ve been using my green card all this time as my ID in banks, hotels, so on and it was always ok. Thank you 🙏

Hi, I am seeking for advice regarding my problem, can you please share your opinion about my case. I am from Ukraine region that is on the border with Russia and close to occupied territories. I do feel a thread from Russian government because of my political views, nationality( yesterday Putin quoted that my nationality fake and do not exist), membership in pro-Ukrainian organizations. Since they invaded Ukraine, I am assuming refuge status in US as an option in case of Russian aggression will go further. Do I have a chance to be granted this status? Also, I have a valid student temporary residence permit in one of EU countries(Lithuania), I lived there for 1 year during education, and it will be valid for two months more after today. I have left this country after graduation(half year go) and did not have plans to stay there. I never had work/property/meaningful relations there. My question is, can this be considered as firm resettlement, and prevent me from getting this status in case Russian invasion will go further or now? I need a status to save my national identity language and culture, from being annihilated by Russins chauvinistic beliefs and military aggression. I want to continue my membership in pro-Ukrainian organizations to resist Russian aggression via volunteering, participation with other Ukrainian refuges worldwide and Ukrainian diaspora in order to achieve deoccupation of Ukrainian territories.
