i think a friend of my mine was wrongfully denied adjustment. the Denial letter stated the two reasons as 1. she didnt explain well enough how she came into the country, but she came into the us at age 10. 2. was she couldn't prove that she was in the US at exactly dec 2000, but she has school and medical records from 1993 to 2015

I called mcbean law and they said their consultation fee is $200! I don't think that's fair!! who says that she'll take my case or how long will it take for her to get to my case! I'm sure she has other clients!!
@FIHFreeImmigrationHelp2 жыл бұрын
Yea, I never understood the consultation fee. It is like a car dealership charging prospective clients for the test drive and info about the vehicle... It is sad that this became acceptable in immigration practice.

Hi, I was deported back in 2004 for life (I think). I was a U.S. permanent resident and lived in the U.S. for nearly 30 years. I arrived in the U.S. with my parents in 1976. Currently I have been living in Mexico for the past 17 years. My whole family is in the U.S. My question is, what can I do to go back legally? I was convicted for an aggravated felony (not drugs nor sexual charges) and deported in 2004. What are the steps to start a process in getting back to the U.S. legally? Can I get a pardon? Or a permit to visit at least? I work as a Spanish/English Interpreter over the phone helping people all over the U.S. Please help. Thank you.

I am so sorry to hear your story Ruben. But i have a question during those 30 years is there anything that happened to you that prevented you to apply for citizenship?
@rubencontreras40682 жыл бұрын
@@dailymailboxmoney2563 Well, I did have Permanent Residency while there. But after my first aggravated felony in 1993 I was not deported but I could no longer become a U.S. citizen. I was to be a Permanent Resident as long as I did not commit another crime. But, unfortunately my stupid ways did lead me to commit another crime thus me being deported. Oh well, when you're young you do stupid things and you pay the consequences.

@@rubencontreras4068 Ruben, I understand the full story now. And I am so sorry you had to losse such great benefits as a resident and probably as citizen if things didn't turn out the way they did. Yes no one is perfect. Just hope you use that experience to live your life in a better way. Yes it's not easy being young and make some mistakes that unfortunately gonna follow us for the rest of our lives. Hope you and your family are okay. Remain blessed

@@dailymailboxmoney2563 Thank you very much my friend. I appreciate your kind words. And yes, I've been sober for the past 10 years. Turned over a new leaf and I'm trying to live my life as best as I can. I'm grateful that my family has stuck with me through thick and thin. Anyway, greetings to you and your family as well. Love your videos by the way. Keep up the good work

@paridub26264 жыл бұрын
Hello sir. I applied for asylum case on 02 June 2020. After 180 days I applied for work permit after consulting lawyer. And now I received a denial from USCIS mentioned that you can't apply for the EAD before 365 days of application of asylum case. Our lawyer didn't guide us about 365 clock . He said you can apply anytime after 150 days and we did so. Please sir what can I do next to get EAD as I don't trust my attorney anymore.
