HOW TO FIND A JOB IN THE NETHERLANDS | 10 tips from a non-Dutch speaking expat in Amsterdam

Finding a job in the Netherlands was one of my biggest worries before coming here. However, I’m here to reassure you that while it is indeed challenging, it’s not impossible!
To pay it forward, I decided to make a video about my 10 tips on how to become a better job candidate when job hunting in the Netherlands. I had to learn some of these things the hard way, so I hope this video will help make the process easier and more enjoyable for you!

ABOUT ME & MY SITUATION:
⊹ I don’t speak any Dutch & am an English-only speaker
⊹ Have a Bachelor’s degree, but don’t have a Master’s degree
⊹ Don’t work in ‘in demand’ sectors like tech/engineering/finance/marketing etc, nor a 'specialised' role
⊹ I have 8 years' professional work experience, and mid-level in seniority
⊹ I didn’t require sponsorship, and my husband already had a job so we had 1 source of income already
