Thanks! Used the trick (with a spray bottle), and found the leak. Easily repaired it with teflon: Naish owners with octopus system, check that first, if you don't want to rinse your entire kite afterwards! (I'm sure dishwasher is not eco - friendly...)

They need to make bladders dark to black. Shine a light and see all the holes

I'm curious how you locate the exact spot of the leak when the bladder is out. I've gone through the same procedure but the leaks don't show up when I remove the bladder. It goes from 8 to 6 psi in two or three hours. That is considered a small leak. I can't pump the bladder hard enough outside of the kite, as it will cause a hernia or burst. What's the trick?

What do you do if you don't really know where the leak is on a big leading edge? Any tips for narrowing it down?

Hi Evan. This is what I use the soap water technique for. I soak the entire leading edge. Wherever the bubbles form is where the leak will be

@@GunnarBiniasch oh cool, thanks, from the video you did the soap after knowing which area the hole was in, just didn't know if you had a trick for narrowing it down. i had a slow leak in my leading edge, took forever to find it, will try this next time!

You can do a quick repair on a small leak by putting 40 ml of bicycle tyre sealant in through the valve hole. Then hold the leak lower than the rest of the wing and shake it.

How do you know where the leak is before you pour the sealant in?

I use a small sponge with some water and detergent on it.

If I can’t find the leak I shake the repair fluid everywhere inside the bladder.
