Thank you! I've wondered for years how agates are formed, especially why they're shaped the way they are. I've tried looking it up, but the information was often not well explained. You answered my questions plainly, explained how the banding was laid down, what made the bands and how the material that settled into bands got in there. On to my next idle research: how does the gel coat the interior of the bubble, without the bubble moving?
