Are you still able to use the storage box underneath the bed? I see in some videos a storage box underneath those 3 crew member seats.

Larry, this setup has no storage under the sofa bed. Below is the welded structure to the frame of the ambo as it straddles the wheel well. There are some manufacturers that do have this feature, but I believe their seat arrangement is higher/taller to accommodate this. There is a small drawer closer to the side door underneath.

@@dailydestinations9416 Thank you Sir for your replies. Yes, an ambo/nomad life is a growing possibility for me, and I'm learning what either works or doesn't work for others. I don't have the resources to purchase an ambo, tear everything out and do a professional build. There are too many excellent features already built in, so why mess with it. Again, thank you.

There are auctions for ambulances all over the country. You can also find them in classified ads on the interwebs from companies that buy them off of auctions and resell them. This is sometimes better, as with auctions, you often can't drive or test them prior to placing a bid and you learn after the condition of the ambulance (or any vehicle). You can also search places like craigslist.

I was disappointed thst you titled this "where to find" then NEVER bring up the subject except to (wrongly) say you dicussed it. Clip should be titled "how I put an Ikea bed in an ambulance." Not s bad video, just very misleading.
