Ah, the videos that we end up making due to the real-life troubles on the trail! Glad you found the problem spots! Thanks for making this, Doug!

Exactly! Might as well make some good from it. :)

How timely. I go on a fishing trip with some friends, about this time every year. I have fought my air mattress for 2 years, waking every morning on the ground with bone chilling charlie horses. You just reminded me to fix that thing. Thank you. God Bless and stay safe.

I developed a leak in my Nemo pad too. I didn’t have time to mess around with trying to fix it, so I bought another and plan to try and fix the old one. Since it took several hours for it to deflate, I figure it has a pretty small leak. Interesting that yours were in the seams. I will definitely try and fix it now. Great video!

Yeah I didn't do all that for the video, I did it all before I found the leak!

Thanks Doug, I dread the day that I get a leak in the exact same pad out on a trip. The Nemo Tensor Ins. is the most comfortable pad I've been on and hopefully take the necessary precautions to avoid something like this. I too would be frustrated and probably give up, out in the field trying to find the leak. Appreciate the video.

Yeah it's too bad foam pads have such a comparatively poor weight-to-comfort ratio but that's the way it goes. :)

I've had a leak in mypad for 2 yrs. Maybe your video will motivate me 2 try and find the leak again. I started using the old blue foam pad again and a working air sleep pad sounds nice!

Well well well ! I just found myself in the same situation you have described in the intro on my last adventure: ON THE GROUNd freezzing like a peasant with my 230$ CAD matress deflating every hour. I had to blow that thing 7 times to be able to get a bit of sleep for 4 nights !!! :-( You guessed it: Nemo Tensor i was just like your. I came to search a bit since I was not sure if it was ok to seal it with just the sealer tube product. Your video answered my question :-) Thank you sir ! The Nemo Tensor is the most confortable sleeping pad in my opinion. Can't wait to see the new edition that is coming out soon ;-) Even beeing an ultralight backpaker, i use it on every adventure ! Last year, I even spoiled myself with a Sea To Summit Aeros pillow...and i have to say : It makes a Very luxurious combo ahaha ! I feel like a princess in the woods ! Thank you sir for this video, my sleeping pad is currently drying and i will fix it tonight ! Keep up the good work :)

Glad it helped. Extra tip: sleep on it a night in your house before you take it out again to be sure you got ALL the leaks... Don't ask me why I know that. :)
