Not sure where it came from but I’ve seen a few others found in the area, and they have all been this light yellow color. It may not be that old either, there was an old house above probably early 1800’s to late 1800’s. I’ve found a lot of old bottles there also 1870’s

Any Idea the flint type on this one? Also, what are your definitions of flint and chert? If flint is the really hard, jewel grade, we have some of that here. Most are rougher grades like Crooksville or Kanawa Black cherts. But, some of the local small cobbles I find, are jewel grade like glass. Thanks for the comments also.👍

Not a lot of people know this, but natives used to coat certain tools or effigies in a layer of limonite. I'm not sure how they made it stick but i have a boat stone that was coated in a 1/16-inch layer of limonite and the stone under it is some kind of hard stone. I can also see marks on it as if they sanded it into a more precise shape.

Bet money the teeth are from someone that was murdered. That is how the killer made sure the body wasn't ID.

You should probably turn the teeth in to the police. Might solve a cold case.

Well, I forgot them on the beach and the high water took them. Give someone a find down river. I think they were someone’s that had their teeth pulled, maybe to get dentures.🤷‍♂️👍

These creepy human teeth could have been evidence of a violent crime. The teeth might have belonged to a missing person. It seems unlikely that someone would rip their own teeth out so violently that the roots were still on them. 🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢
