I knew a guy who sold general liability and property insurance. He walk from business to business and give the owner an elevator pitch about switching. So, basically 'old school' door knocking. He got licensed 4 years ago, straight out of college. He now owns a small airplane and a home.... in Los Angeles. Do what is hard, because that road has the least traffic.

i like it, great advice. i go door 2 door during my 9-5 selling telecom. i should adopt some similar practices for insurance and invesments. i like that quote, "do what is hard, because that road has the least traffic"

Hey, as a new insurance agent, it can be challenging to get clients, so i will recommend running ads that what help me get massive client.

Im in my growth phase of building my own clientele under a SF agent. Contacting my warm audience (friends, family, neighbors)is where I would say half of my sales have come from to date. I just ask how much their paying and if they mind if I check to bring them to another company (and list the benefits of switching SF) The most challenging part for me is had been finding a casual way to ask 🙃

I'm building a Facebook group for moms in life insurance. Blogging, and most importantly I started a email list for my clients to keep them informed. Thank you for this video. It's very helpful. You're absolutely right, there isn't a lot of support for new insurance agents. Thank you for your tips!

Hi Kenny. Great video. Other sources of leads that work for me are multiverse offices that help people file for new businesses, prepare their taxes and do some other types of paperwork and notary services. They refer me tons of people who are starting new ventures and need their first insurance policies
@KennyJTV2 жыл бұрын
Oh wow, I learned something new! Would I just research “multiverse offices”? I need to tap into that ASAP! Thanks for adding that in and always thanks for tuning in!

Partnering with captive agencies is very interesting. Easy to assume it would be a turnoff for them. Curious as to how you pitch it because I am sure they hope for it to be beneficial for their business as well!
@matthewminch5894Ай бұрын
Not a turnoff at all. You just have to establish that you are a solution for THEIR client. If you sell a product that they cant, and you can establish that you are RELIABLE its an awesome partnership. It has to go both ways though and you cant poach their other lines if you want it to work out. My wife has a couple broker partners that she works with and the partnership has been awesome for several years. The partner does business and health insurance and my wife does property, casualty and life.

Thanks Kenny! These tips are noted. Now, I just need to google networking events! 😅 I just started and now have my first clients, with a second client on the books in the near future. 🙏🏽 Organically, I have shared my service with my church family and gain referrals from them. Also, sharing my services with relatives and in-laws at holiday and occasional gatherings. 👌🏾I am posting on social media, but no feedback from that yet. My expectations for the social media is really low, but I am still consistent.

I am using a marketing tool called PipelinePro to create funnels that generate warm leads from ads. The owners of the company said that a lot of insurance agents use this tool. Building my website at the moment (still have my web design business) and then I will connect the funnel to the website or a landing page. I purchased a lifetime license for $37 (they often run ads on Facebook to get this deal). They do a really good job by offering free training and also done for you pieces or complete funnels for $97 mo. (not bad) The funnel steps someone from the initial stage to the purchasing stage. I have done networking for 20+ years as a web designer but prefer the online marketing method. You helped me pass my Life insurance exam 9 mos ago and now I am going for my Health exam.

How exactly would you market to statefarm agents?
@NatalieWalters-j5z Жыл бұрын
Great suggestions! Thank you, networking events has been good, but I like the approach that you take by attending events that is not saturated by others in the same industry as my selection was not always beneficial because of being saturated with competitors.
