Where do you find single-issue practice questions? What else do you do to prepare for your exams?

You are a godsend. Don't know how I would prepare for law school without your help.

Thank you Professor Baez for all of your helpful videos! May I ask you to please demonstrate in a future video a short practice question using the IRAC method preferred by my school and CA Bar?: (1) Just underlining issue instead of “ The Issue is whether…” , (2) After providing rule, starting each Application section with “Here, …” (3) use of “because” to satisfy each element , and (4) “Therefore, Thus, or Hence” … to conclude. Thank You Professor. Sarah

I noticed a lot of the released NCBE MBE questions are also on the MEE. That is a great idea. Thank you.

Non-lawling/lawyer here, I thought C would be the answer ala Judge Judy type case. I didn't know what a conversion was, so I figured that was going to be the problem with my answer. Very clear explanation of creating essays out of MC questions though.

I’ve taught Torts in 3, 4, 5, and 6 credit formats. As a student, I had a 3 credit Torts class and was not taught Conversion. Lots of compromises when teaching Torts with only 3 credits.

But how do I know if I’m doing it correctly? I mean I can practice doing these, but without some interaction I might be doing them wrong and continue to think I’m doing them correctly.

This is a great observation. Self-reflection and practice can only get you so far. At some point you need an expert to help you. Most law schools have academic success professionals, and there are also private tutors one can hire.

Can you get into law school if you’ve had dui charges (no convictions)?

Yes, just don’t hide it.

From your opinion, how many pages of answers is enough for a law question? Is it better to have many pages?
@Learnlawbetter3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the amount of time you have to write an answer. Generally, the top grades have more pages than the lower grades. But I have failed some answers with lots of pages. This is because it’s not only about quantity, but quality.

@@Learnlawbetter I ask this cuz yesterday I had Tort exam for 4 hours, but I feel insecure because my answer is only like 5-6 pages while my friend had like 20 pages. It keeps bothering my mind :/
@Learnlawbetter3 жыл бұрын
After an exam, move forward. You can’t go back in time and change things. What you can do is start thinking about the next exam. Ask yourself how you can improve your exam skills.

Can non-U.S. citizens practice law in the U.S.?
@Learnlawbetter3 жыл бұрын
Yes, but they need a work visa. Tough to get because of the oversupply of lawyers.

You have a "bailment". issue here, because of a previous verbal contract.....The homeowner is responsible for the repairs..... there's no "conversion".... because of a previous agreement to "share". assets and the neighbor.didnt convert the ninetenths of possession into profit.... period... I'd answer (c) $150. Sorry.....you are not entitled to complete replacement... just repair, to restore and return the property.....
