Please walk through a sample exam and answer like you did before but please show an example that requires doing counter-arguments.

On this topic: How can we know what a 'model' answer is and thus be able to compare what we had done on a practice exam vs what we should have done given that, at least at my lawschool, sample answers are never given, and we always change lecturers every semester?
@Learnlawbetter4 жыл бұрын
The model answer is ideal, but as you note it’s not always available. This means you take the practice exam and then compare your answer with your notes and books. Harder, but still helps with learning.

Hi, I'm an 8th grader who really loves debate and wants to go to law school. I was wondering what your suggestions would be to prepare for law school (even though I know it's pretty early...) What style of high school debate would you recommend I take, or if it matters. (I'm currently taking public forum debate). Thank you so much for your help, and you are a great inspiration to me to study law.

Focus on improving your writing skills, like taking classes where you are required to write papers on a topic. For example, history classes may have these types of assignments. As to Debate, I was a college debater and did not find it useful for law school. But in US colleges, the key is speed. If you are in a debate program where you can speak at a normal pace, rather than racing through an argument, that might help you develop some public speaking skills. Wish you well.

Hello. I'm currently studying political science and international affairs major as a bachelor's degree. I'm planning on travelling abroad to pursue my masters in international law, and I'm wondering can I work as a lawyer without getting into laws chool and by only getting an LLM degree?
@Learnlawbetter4 жыл бұрын
In the United States you must have a first law degree. If that law degree is earned outside the U.S., a few of our States will let you sit for the bar exam after earning an LLM at a U.S. law school accredited by the American Bar Association.

So it could be said we are responsible for Hitler! Love it..lol
@Learnlawbetter4 жыл бұрын
There are so many different factors that went into allowing Hitler to take power. One I learned about a month ago was how the flu was responsible for Hitler, and here's how. President Woodrow Wilson was 100% opposed to requiring reparations, but the French president was equally in favor of them. After weeks of deadlock, President Wilson got a bad case of the flu--maybe Spanish Influenza. When he recovered, he was never the same. He didn't have any fight left in him and agreed to the reparations requirement. So we can also blame the Spanish flu for Hitler. Sort of.

Honestly, coming from a European, this is more plausible than what's happening right now in the US.
