OMA! OMG! I WAS LOOKING AT A CONSTELLATION UNDER ORION! BEFORE YOU TAKE THAT VIDEO, I WAS THINKING ABOUT IT, I KNEW THAT WAS LEPUS THE HARE , THANK YOU TO TELL US AND TEACH US ABOUT LEPUS CONSTELLATION, Also i can use Sirius to point me to lepus!😊 I think lepus is little bit faint, it has brightest star, called Arneb, arabic called Rabbit, its a cute Constellation right? I like your video, and I hope you heart my comment😊💞

Why did ancient people make patterns with groups of stars
@learnthesky2 жыл бұрын
It helped to keep track of the growing seasons and agriculture purposes. Many cultures also embedded morality tales in many of the mythologies. The stars were essentially our first calendar.

All these astronomy people with their ambient weed smoking space drama synth music making me wanna cry because I'm too damn inspired by the universe 😢 it's a bunny up there in space looking down on us forever 🥹 😂 As always, good job.

Have you done one on the largest constellation hydra. If not please do it I cant find it.
@learnthesky2 жыл бұрын
I have not done this one yet but have been working on it. Mostly because I’m struggling to find pictures of it. Since it is such a large constellation it is difficult to photograph.
