I've heard way too many journalist interview grant with a script, and you can tell that they dont change or add a single question... they're just Q&As and lack conversation. The woman I love is 21 and in nursing school. She's hella supportive of me in building my business but she comes from a family with the 'employee mindset' and she's cool if she makes $40-50k/year her whole life. She's 'down for the ride' of us getting rich but she's also okay if we don't ever get rich. How big of a problem is this?

I will say your 'never-settle' outlook is much better than her down for the ride outlook. But my thought is if you keep it up, there's absolutely nothing to worry about. I am Asian. Loved the education we had. There was hardly any feeling of entitlement. And we hardly fought for “rights”. The way we fought for rights was through harmony and cooperation. There was no rage. Academic achievement is a prominent value. Life was simple. Someday I would like my kids to school in Asia. There was a lot of emphasis on spiritual growth, discipline and academic achievement together with sports achievement/leadership. Students were more connected. They were not glued to phones the whole day.

True equality means a woman can provide just as much as a man. Every person needs to be able to take care of themselves financially. It is NOT gender dependent. It is NOT a man's role OR a woman's; it is a matter of livelihood and preference and agreement between partners BECAUSE a man or woman can lose his/her ability to financially provide at anytime in their marriage due to health issues. This should not be a "special" case scenario. This is life's proof that any gender can take up the role of the other.
