Thank you Brian for the video, just a litle observation when you triger the tool it wil restart any wireless security cameras adapters and reconnect ( in my case i have 10 wireless DCS-5010 from Dlink security cameras) just give it the necesary time to restart.

Mac Filtering is actually useless. There are actually a lot of methods to change the Mac address. The same goes for changing your WiFi password... You can just death someone and optain the new key. Simple and very quick. That's why I always have an Kill Switch in the near of my door. I can always turn off the Internet with it and my routers are set up to turn the wifi off (20-30sec after the connection was lost) if there's no internet connection. My router has actually an custom firmware and this feature is actually available under Power Saving options. I personally would put it under the Security and Updates Tab

To what mac address would you want to change then if you want to break in? Or you are going to try aa:aa:aa:aa:aa up to zz:zz:zz:zz:zz ? Nothing wrong with mac filtering... It’s just as strong as a 16 letter password (or whatever the length actually is).

I would suggest whitelisting your computers, instead of blacklisting others. Only whitelisted computers, phones... will be able to get on to your network. Only some routers you can also set restrictions on certain devices (stopped my daughter surfing at night)

The main problem is MAC address are easily sniff able =( They're doing ARP poisoning and then you will cry why you add filters

It important to note that Mac address can easy be change to get access to the network don't get me wrong not taking way anything from the video because for someone to change Mac address you would have to be tech savvy its a great very to block the common joe

Is it normal that theres other device with a different mac but same network adapter company name as the one labeled by the software as "your computer" (mine) there is also other mac appearing always at the end with the same name of network adapter company as my router but also has a different mac please help D: ? Try entering the right password. For ages I was using the Admin password without luck until I looked more closely at the back of the router and found the correct password.

Most of the routers for UK based ISP's can be accessed. Ive not seen any that cannot. Virgins routers are known for being pants. but you have the option of putting them in "Modem Mode". They you can connect a quality aftermarket Router, straight into the Virgin router which is now acting as a plain modem.

I'd change the password the very same day i got it. It's not about the pw so much as it got more to do with the IP address. One of their IT guys was here to fix a problem and as he was entering the IP ad, the last two digits was 46. When he left i tried it with that address but it wasn't working either. I thinks they randomly change the IP ad so they can make changes to the settings for what ever reason. This is how they do things here in South Africa.

Change your DNS and use a static local IP that will hide your computer from some routers. You can also change your device name so they dont know whos device it is. I would also use an external network card so you can destroy it if your caught. That will make it so they cant see your mac addresses as the evidence is destroyed. You can also use a VPN for security and privacy.

dtwelve2086: You can't. You could trying spoofing, but that doesn't work if I setup filtering on MAC address (yes you can spoof mac addresses, but it's harder). Also I can see everything you send through my router. I can also re-route your traffic, sending your bank request to my server and steal your credentials (still want to steal my internet).
