All bearing sizes:
Open: outer diameter 7.98 (8mm)/thickness 2.98 (3mm)/inner diameter 2.95 (3mm)
Closed (693zz): outer diameter 7.98 (8mm)/ thickness 3.98 (4mm)/inner diameter 2.95 (3mm)
In general, the closed bearing is 1 mm thicker, the other dimensions are the same.
I have an opinion that only 2-3 types of bearings are used in laser levels, no more. There are open bearings, and there are closed ones, according to logic, the second ones should better resist dust, but this is only guesswork.
