This video is a perfect example of the fact that being alone isn't the same as being lonely at all. I agree that there's so much to be gained from working on your relationship with yourself and finding out what's important to you! It reminds me of the quote "You spend most of your life inside your head, make it a good place to be". 🥰Great story and amazing shots, Alex! Looks like you've had some amazing holidays (in Norway 🤩)!

That's right! Exactly what I was going for 😊 That's a really good quote too, I'll remember that one! Thank you, many more Norway adventures to come I'm sure 🎬😁

Good video. Since my wife of 51 years passed in 2022 I live alone. Its taken a while but I'm doing OK. I am 77 and walk about 15,000 steps most days but I haven't traveled much...yet. My adult kids are supportive but I rarely see them. I don't visit them unless I am invited.

If you live in the UK, check out people like Riveria Travel. They do solo holidays where most people are single, so you've got someone to chat to.

I like this video. I like being alone. I feel uncomfortable around others. I dont like being influenced by others . Most people are in their bubbles anyway. We are all alone. I dont like needy people . Some people fear being alone , and are dependent on others .

Great video. I think that the art of being alone is what we all need. We need to know perfectly well the closest person in our life and I mean ourselves. And it’s so important to be able to live with our own thoughts. And of course better to be alone than with some toxic people who consume our energy

Great video Alex! Thank you for the thoughtful message, I've been passing through some tough times recently, in one month I got fired from my job and broke my 2,5 years relationship with the woman of my life which made me doubt if I was in the right path in life (tried to get back, didn't work out). But after the grief from all of this were gone (I find it interesting enjoying the bad feelings as well as the good ones) I chose to stay alone, doing things on my own and actually enjoying them, all of this on the house beach that my grandpa owns, completely alone. Now, after two months I'll get back on track, find a better job that will guide me through my goal, which is moving to a place just for me, let my parents live their lives and "start" mine. Thank you, from Brazil, João.

Living in Japan with a remote english-based job and bilingual partner, the most confidence-boosting and motivation-inducing thing for me to knuckle down was actually when friends came to visit and I took them to the countryside where they were relying on me for any and all communication, and in most cases I could deliver. People doubt themselves, be we are so much more capable than we think - especially when people are relying on us.

That's really interesting! And definitely a good example of exactly what you can do when you go all in. I bet your younger self would be really pumped knowing you've been able to do that.

I can relate the things what you said 😊. I mean most of the times when I say, I like to be alone people look at me like wtf?! 😅 But you kinda gathered my thoughts about this topic. Great video, keep it up ! 😊

You are too gorgeous to contemplate being alone. I understand enjoying your own company, but remember there are lots of lonely people that would bask in your company. Look toward balance ….alone time and then being with others.
