But what if the property I'm promoting is sold or no longer available? Are these ads mainly for realtors? Could we use this method for wholesaling?

I normally run ads like this for short durations, like 5-7 days just because of how fast the market is moving. You could easily adapt the message to wholesaling but the process would be similar.
