Worst guide I've ever seen here on KZbin. Dude is so lost he just spams spells in order to make progress while logic thinking is required. Worst part are the cuts however, making it impossible to follow the way to the fire cube. And since the quest can be riddled with bugs it doesn't make it easier. For me the wall to the room with the fire cube did not open. So I left the game running and when I came back after 10 minutes it strangely worked somehow. Few tips: Right cube requires Levioso (floating). Left cube requires Incendio or anything fire related. Pressure plates can be tricked by using Accio to pull the torch. You can also use Arresto Momentum to freeze them in time. Pro tip: Don't use this "guide".

Once you get pulled by the floor and come out the back, quickly long press the O (dodge button) and you can sweep dodge over it before the floor comes back.

Mine was buggy I didn't have fire pits around the statue. The two squares where stuck to the pads the wrong way around to ages to do this. Thanks for your vid. It helped alot

You can use arresto momentum to freeze the floor and you need to bring back the Niffler to Agnes Coffey in Bainburgh (it’s a side quest)

Your supposed to use the black torch but if you let the wall catch you, quickly use the ancient magic dodge and you can get across just before the trap resets

For the floor, I also dodge roll (CTRL) to avoid it. Those floors gave me too many scares. Currently wandering around and trying to find the second magic cube for the lower level after fighting the poachers or whoever.

I used aresto momentum on the floor to run over, they eat you with or without the qubes on the right place. I think the qubes only opens new path ways. Had to watch this video to do it all in order and make sense of stuff. Not impossible that some magical walls do not work unless you do stuff in order. Ty

If you pick up one those lanterns and are leveraging it with leviosa, as you walk by that wall that “eats you” (as you called it) the wall eats the lantern instead of you. You can run right on through without getting sucked into the wall

For the moving floor, use accio to pull the fire torch to you, the wall will eat it, and as it does, then you run by before it comes back!

Arresto momentum will stop the floor from moving, or use a brazier and it’ll pull the brazier and give you a quick second to go through, this only works once tho as it’ll take it and not spit it back out.

The way you pass the floor traps is by pushing the torch thingys onto it

I found a way how to get through the walls that stuck you into it. You have to use accio to force the firebins into the place then run across it before it does it again. They have them all over the place. Hope it helps anyone who needs it 🙂

The part when you went through the gate by putting a cube thru it-- I play on pc and the inside was full of continually spawning inferi, and they moved the cube further to the right and I could no longer access it with my wand.(Okay so prolly not on purpose, but in the fighting that is where it ended up) I came back, am attempting to complete this one now.

Just a tip when you come to the floor that makes you disappear or teleport use accio to pull the braisier on to the floor and it will pull the floor away and then you can quickly pass by

@@katrinahamlin4767 I got it to work in the end . Basically there are 2 missions in that place. 1 is the treasure which used the statue - the second is the niffler quest . Make sure when you cast the spell on the blocks it’s the right spell. The first 2 are fire and ice and the second 2 are fire and leviosa! Hope it works

Use the hand slow hand 🤚 spell on the floor so that you don't get sucked away into the room. Hand spell will allow you to cross those stones on the floor.
