How to find the product of 2/5 and sqrt(2) without using numbers.

In it I show you how to find the product of 2/5 and sqrt(2) using only ratios of magnitudes.
The above method works for any product, not only 2/5 by sqrt(2).
If we were dividing 2/5 by sqrt(2), then we would not have switched the antecedent and consequent of the ratio diagonal : side, but multiplication is a reciprocal division process, and the process would have been a lot simpler. Can you believe that division is simpler than multiplication?! Outrageous, eh? 🙂
