Exotics aren’t that great the only thing the have going for them is they’re all S-class. But so what? I had an exotic with 12+5(4/1) and a C-class with 30+6. The class only applies to how big of a bonus you get for linking technologies together. So a class of S doesn’t mean squat if you don’t have room for parts

Housekeeping note: A recent patch has changed either the randomization or, worse, has replaced all these ships with shuttles... meaning it's all now hot garbage from top to bottom. Sure, you can scrap them & get bit of cash and some enhancements, but nerfed is nerfed.

Yes, get a VR rig. You go from looking at the game to being in the game. Thanks for the video - S Class Large Fighters and Explorers are my two favourite ship types, mainly because of the 12 tech slots, and they seem difficult to find in the game right now.

big tip by the way (ps4 ONLY) , if you don’t see the ship, or someone took it , just go back through the portal , save , and then go to settings and disconnect your internet, then go back to no mans sky, you should see an error message , and then head back to the ships location and it should be there

Something he didnt mention. If you claim the ship, then get back in your old one, the "crashed" ship will be in your freighter hanger next time to call for it and you can work on it there at your own pace, and get to keep both ships

So I came across this video while looking up tips for finding s-class fighters. I hadn’t started hunting glyphs yet but after seeing this I did it in about 2 hours. I got EXTREMELY lucky in that I never stopped at more than 2 stations in a row without seeing a traveler. Either they upped the encounter rate or I got really lucky. The most time consuming aspect was doing missions for the nanite clusters but I finally just got this ship and HOLY COW THANK YOU SO FLIPPING MUCH This hull style is my second favorite visually (replace the nose cone with the radiant pillars snub nose and it’s perfect) so this is like the best thing ever for me. I love you. I can’t wait to see what this thing can do 😏

I got it today on PS4. At first I went through the portal with multiplayer on, couldn't find it, checked the comments and thought I'd never get it. I switched multiplayer off then went back through the portal to where I came from. Continued playing for half hour doing random stuff with multiplayer off, including warping to another system. Then I realised I missed a step, I went through the portal and searched the planet you spawn on, I didn't fly over to Gust Prime I think it's called. I went back through the portal and flew over there, searched and still couldn't find it and then realised I had the wrong coordinates. I was at -0.49 should be +0.49. When I corrected my mistakes and followed the video exactly, there it was! I'm a happy boy 😊 Jason thank you very much, great videos, lots of love from your new subscriber

a good tip to find the ship for everyone is to use a distress signal map you would get from the cartographer edit: the fighter is no longer there it’s just some random ship

I'm almost 100 % sure that the devs of the game used old sidescrolling shooters, other games and scifi series as an inspiration for the various ships in the game. The "squid" for example screams Vorlon tech from the B5, even one of the colour schemes looks the part. That particular crashed fighter with at least one other, have clearly been influnced heavily by the game called Gradius. Most of the shuttles in the game are also spitting images of the ship in Uridium, I mean the ship in the actual game, not in the C64 cover - coincidence, I don't think so. I see at least 5 different games behind the vessel design, Gradius, R-Type, Salamander, Uridium and Wingcommander (the Owl fighters remind me of the CF-117 Rapier from Wing Commander). Brought back a lot of good memories when I thought of this.

@@titaniumO2 I've been playing the game 4 weeks and I've hit the money 4 billion cap got 100,000 nanites in the bank unlocked all technologies and building modules. Have every achievement in the game completed an s class in every ship type, and a fully decked out living ship as of today with all slots occupied with upgrades. In 4 weeks I repeat, it's hardly a life time lol . You could scrape together 60 mill for a ship in 20 hours of game time from the start of the game. Bye now your probably a billionaire a hundred times over and have realised all this 😂 if you stuck with it that is anyway

Great vid, excited about the hauler and now this fighter. I'm still working glyphs and have 10/16 since before the update but I'm working thru the Artemis storyline now I think still. Heard ya say about 15 hrs for that so hopefully I'm getting close to an end. I had found my first portal and set a base right on it (which took forever to actually find), now I'm seeing em everywhere with this story line. Ha ha I'm getting the proof for the races I'm worthy so hopefully that's getting me near an end to actually be able to use the portal. Great vid though, loved the enhance clip and glad to keep getting out to explore

The one I found during artemis, I just put the computer and marked as the one I found in the story. The first I found I have almost completely charged but didnt fully just in case I needed all the glyphs first. I was working on a theory for the glitch that maybe it reset the traveller item numbers to 1 and so I wasnt getting em until I get over 10, but I figured itd be a harder challenge to search out 10+ travellers randomly as opposed to just rolling that story line. Lol

Started a new game 2 days ago after just playing on 1 save for hundreds of hours. My new character feels disabled compared to my God level all s class character on my old save but it's refreshing starting new not having billions of credits and tens of thousands of nanites, so much has changed starting fresh is a blast I'm currently ship hunting but I don't have all the glyphs yet so that's the next step.

After the living ship update, you can only find B and C crashed ships, these ships also replace the old crashed ships so don't bother looking for them

As of today ( right now for me ) on PC, I can confirm this ship is here. But big mention goes to D4rkSol1tud3 who has built a simple but effective base nearby. Just land and venture through the teleporter on the landing pad and voila! There is even teleport to the station and a refinery to help repair the ship as well as a trading terminal. Total legend! Also, great guide Jason. Awesome!

I withdraw my comment. This is one of those occasions that Jason warns us about -- turn off multiplayer before you go through the portal, because once you're through you cannot return, turn off multiplayer, go back thru, and then have the thing appear. I tried this with a fresh run on Normal mode on PC without ever turning multiplayer on, and found the ship as per Jason's instructions.

It isn’t very hard unless you’re on a new game and have very few resources. Did it in 5 minutes myself.

No fix is a complicated one on starships. Fully repaired in 5 minutes, tops.

In case the ship doesn't appear, try the following: If you use an older cloud save (PS Plus) , the ship will reappear once you go through the portal again. But multiplayer must be disabled obviously before going through it. Worked for me and now I'm cruising through space with this bad boy. :)

I have a problem, I’m already at the last mission and I choose to go to the center of the galaxy but when I cross the portal it doesn’t let me build a base computer I try to go to another planet but it doesn’t let me build it, it might be because of the portal interference. Please help. Auto like.

Yes but before you go throu a Portal you have to disable multiplayer

@@dennisamie7083 Go to a Vy'keen system, go to a trading post and wait for 10 minutes or so. Buy any you like! You'll need it to have a good economy, but it's worth it.

Here is how I found my first 38+12 slots S class fighter. I landed on a trade station in a wealthy galaxy. When I found some low tier fighters with high capacity, for example, a C class fighter with 28-30 slots. I start to reload my save. Eventually, the one you saw previously will spawn as a S class as the same look. I found mine within 20 reloads. Good luck on hunting ships! (Hope you guys can understand my English)

just look for wealthy and prosperous systems i think the warrior race has the fighters those two things and wait at space stations once you find the colors and ship you are looking for im on ps4 its jediknightryder nms artistic thank you group you have better odds for s class in the best economy systems

Go to the Trade Post nearby the wreck ship and wait for the fighter to show up. I went to crash and it was a shuttle. Went to nearby Trade and this fighter showed up in like 5 mins.

Yep Jake is right, looked like they changed all the ships. Sucks because these new ships they put in place of the ones we have all been in search of totally suck. Sure they are S-class but man are they UGLY. Hey anyone else notice they changed the wing design on some of the haulers? Most do not even have wings now and and looks so stupid. A-class or not I dont want it. SMH

Yep, you can have up to 6 ships inside your freighter.

Have you tried going back home thru the portal, then turn off multiplayer. Now head back and look again, it should be normal

Same... Another player was actually there picking it up as I got there. He flew off, I saved (never thought not to), came back, and it's still gone. Now I've gone off planet, through portal, resaved, disabled multiplayer, and gone back... Still not there. :(

I started a new game a few weeks back with a friend. Our starting system was pretty meh. Yesterday I went to a crashed ship beacon. Fighter with 30 tech and 38 cargo s class. I did not know this was possible, but I am currently flying it.

Try going back home thru the portal. Then turn off multiplayer and go back to check. There is a bug right now with crashed ships and multiplayer turned on.
