The Rawlings ball was made by Powell Properties. They had manufacturing facilities in at least Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Elyria, Ohio. They were most likely made in the early to mid 1990s. There are many different balls out there, from many different sports. They even made a football helmet ball. They are all part of he "Official SportBall Collection." I believe Raven 332 would be the brand name for the balls.

Awesome uv is such a great tool for golfball hunting. Put a driving tee in for my nephew's a few weeks ago, they promptly lost half the balls. Used uv to locate 8 the next morning before sunrise

Certainly try searching in places golfers won't go. In thorns, down cliffs, in swamps, etc! Always lots of balls there if you have the right equipment and gear to get to them!

If you wanna start golf gall hunting you should get a Convoy S12 UV, its much more powerful than the one in the video and it only outputs the light that makes golf balls glow

Most places around here have a carts back by like 6 or 630 rule so that limits my time pretty heavily given all the production equipment I need to carry. I typically work with the course to find weekday mornings when there aren't leagues and it's pretty chill.

Most places take a few months of planning, and I offer something completely unique which is huge positive online exposure for the course. We always film course showcases as well, on top of the ball hunting videos, so they have a new professional grade online footprint, and the large exposure from the ball hunting video. Realistically I'm offering a few thousand dollars in advertising in exchange. I also always offer to give the balls back to the courses to use for their range, youth programs, etc. Some take them back, most let me keep them given what I'm already offering. I'm also fully insured so they have no liability for any damage to me, my equipment, or the course while I'm working. It's a business transaction. 🤝 So it's quite a bit different for me, much harder in some ways but much easier in others 🤷‍♂️

Just decide what data is important to you really, try to touch the golf balls as few times as possible as it takes a loooong time to do solo. The more you can organize them while you are cleaning them, the less work you will need to do on data entry!

No problem! The danger is pointing it directly into your eyes or someone else's eyes. Similar to not looking directly into the sun.
