This method is fine if you are about to plan your journey or just want an overview of Tesla charging stations, but the recommended and most convenient way is Tesla app. Two main advantages are live info regarding availability of charging stations and you will/may get a nice discount on charging price if you set an account in app.

@@Markcain268 To fuel an ICE car, you need a credit card or cash, and you may have to walk over to a pay point and queue up to make the payment. Using the app is no different, one simple transaction, without the additional queuing to pay

Hi Matt very nice video again on this subject of open Tesla I am just very annoyed I can’t use them as I drive an MG in fact the MG5 face lifted model and I few weeks back I saw you video from Banbury I have been stoping there for a couple of years now on and off on my journey from Wigan to Berkshire to use the instatvolt site there but after watching your video I thought I would give the Tesla ones a go by no chance there was another guy there at the same time with the earlier MG5 and he’s would work as well with Tesla on the MGEVs forums several have tried and failed pity really apparently Tesla are saying it’s MG software that the issue and MG are not prepared to do anything about it which does not surprise any MG owner the after sales in this area is not the best. Be do appreciate your videos as always

It does depend on how busy the existing Supercharger sites are. They're only opening up the sites where they have the space capacity.

Tesla chargers are CCS2 only, so is no good for Chademo EVs. Cost fluctuates too and is not fixed like others. You pay more at busy times. The Tesla Supercharger network is one of the cheapest though. Plus you can subscribe and pay a monthly fee to reduce the kWh price even further, to the same price Tesla owners pay.

Yes, non-Tesla drivers pay more, but the Supercharger network is still one of the cheapest in the UK and is still 10-20p pkWh cheaper than many others. Checked on the map and there has been an explosion of new sites accepting non Tesla's and locally to me Without a membership is 10 pence cheaper than gridserve peak times 20p off peak!. Gridserve max charge 50kwh (not that my ioniq would see that) or 250 kWh Tesla
