Maybe it's better to be standing so that your foot gets full extension under your weight.

Putting the *craft* in craftsmen👌 This video came just in time I’ve been on the edge of my first purchase and just needed to make sure I nailed down my size! Last sizing guide I printed wasn’t to scale

I used your method and my boots are perfectly to size and very comfortable! I hope everyone does it, especially for the price and wait time..

How long are measurements kept on file? I stopped by Nick's in person 4 years ago, got sized, got my boots, and was wondering due to a future purchase.

Do y'all have a video on what every feature is on your boots when going through the purchase process? Your boss come with a lot of options and if like to know a little more about those options before going through with a purchase. Thanks the the recommendations

@@shimanohenry3355 thank you! I was looking for a video that broke down all the options for boot purchase, i.e. types of leather, arches, toe box, etc, but I found one that was on nicks video list

I am not a smart man. My feet are just a little over 11 inches heel to big toe, my foot is 11in around mid foot (horizontally) and also 11in around the balls of my toes when measured a little diagonally (to follow the balls heh) So I should order an 11F for a roomy boot and a 10.5EE for a more snug boot or do I order it in 10.5F still?
@shimanohenry33552 ай бұрын
IMO depends how you like your fit , would go 10.5F

I've been going back n forth for over a year trying to find my size, based on Nicks "half size down from brannock", reddit forums, facebook groups etc. I've finally figured out what size fits me best. while double checking to make sure another size wasnt better suited for me, I went to Nicks website to check the fit sheet. The fit sheet in this video is different than the one I printed off a year or so ago. However, according to this fit sheet, my foot measures 10 inches and that corresponds to a size 7.5 if I remember correctly. a 7.5 would be 2 sizes too small. so I'm not sure how they came up with this, but during my initial trial and error I could hardly squeeze my foot in an 8D , and when i did get it in my pinky toe was smashed over my next toe.
Thorogood has a much easier method, you should have just copied theirs instead of this arts and crafts cutting and taping bullshit

Getting the measurement all the way around is better then a 2d method. If you cant bother to spend 5 minutes cutting a piece of paper to fit your 400+ dollar shoes then its on you if it doesn't fit perfectly.

@@AVIONN2 what self respecting man doesn't own a tailors tape or hell a tape measure or ruler or a string and a ruler?? Surely not a man that needs $400+ dollar boots anyway
