Finding your correct weight in scuba diving can be a challenge. This short video will hopefully get you closer to your ideal weight. But remember this number is only for the configuration and the water you tested it in.
When you change your exposure suit cylinder size or materials or the water you dive in the amount will change. So always remember the feeling you have when correctly weighted and not the number of KG or pounds.

Such a different way of looking at this compared to how it’s being taught (or not taught) by the big certifying agency.

Maybe there's a precise calculations of your wiegt in order to find the right amount of wiegt in your belt. Or a chart that can easily be determined the right amount.

Since the weight in NUMBERS is so dynamic, its better to get to know the feeling fo when you are weighted correctly. So any table or maths equation would never give you the right answer. Follow the steps in the video and you will get an idea. Its important to understand that when you test you should be able to comfortably dive @3m /10ft with a near empty cylinder, 30bar /500psi WITH NO GAS IN YOUR BCD. feel if you can control your buoyancy with your breathing. You can bring some loose weights with you to take into your hand and experient.
