I don't think that is true. All tcs spawn in a perfect circle on Arabia. This means that it can be varying distances from the edge of the map.

​@@ns-islandsroblox Assuming you are roughly on the opposite side of the map as your opponent, that means you will be pretty close to the same distance from the edge of the map. Which is going to be easier for most people to judge than a perfect circle. Also didn't they change the perfect circle thing in one of the patches, so it is no longer a perfect circle but the amount of variation is so little it isn't noticeable.

No it's still a perfect circle. I think they undid thay change since TC would spawn so clock to each other it be unfair. TC are still on the circle but now can be anywhere. So you don't really know the exact tc location but you can just make your scout go around off the circle path to avoid dying. I had the orbit mod installed and I was perfect but eventually just removed it since it makes you lazy and won't let you get better.

For Burmese it’s even easier: you have vision to all relics and can just directly scout the area where no relic appears.

I learned from Biry who learned from some guy named Fulgore that you scout in square along the borders of the map, i dont know if i expkain myself but it helped me a lot. Of course, knowing about the info like the extra golds. Its pretty similar but more focused on noob players, i feel yours is for more experienced players. wdym by along the borders of the map? Do you mean the square to scout alignes with the map or you scount in a square diagonal to the map. (Which is already a diagonal square) So do you either go from north to east to south to west..., Or do you go from north-west to north-east to south-east to south west? Does it matter? I guess bother would lead to finding your enemey quickly. Especially if you combine it with Heras advanced tips.

My current scouting strat is: take boars asap and then give your scout a hotkey. While waypoint scouting, as soon as i hear alarm, i immediately control it with hotkey and redirect it. If i never make waypoints too far from scouted land, i never run directly into tc, so its mostly enough for surviving

How come pros never use way points for scouting? Or very rarely? My main assumption is that you're hyper vigilant about never forgetting about where your scout is and so you keep constantly checking back to it to see if it goes near TC but is there any further reason?

Two big reasons: First, it has lots of up-front time commitment. You are better spending a lot if small bits of time going back and forth to the TC than putting a big amount of time into laying out waypoints and then going back to your TC. Second, you waste a ton of time. Your scouting will change based on what you see. When you see something like a relic or resources that will change your scouting plan and then not only did you waste all the time laying out future waypoints you now need to either lay out new waypoints or babysit your Scout. I think Hera actually made a video about this a while back.

Try to scout with 1 or 2 sheep once you find your first 4. Try to make them all revolve either clockwise or anti-clockwise, radiating outwards. Make 1 sheep travel a shorter circle and pull it back when second sheep under tc has around half the food left.

Based on these principles, we can apply the so-called "Fulgore Exploration", a foolproof exploring method, widely used by some people to lame. We draw an imaginary square on the map, whose sides are equidistant from the edge of the map and where one of its sides crosses by our tc and, in theory by the enemy's TC. If we go through this square, it is certain that we will find some resource of our enemy or his TC, whetever where he is. Being possible that the enemy is in front, to the left or to the right of our TC, we can simplify the exploration, avoiding the part of the square that is at the nearest sides of our TC and going directly to the sides at the distance of half of the map, then we go through the rest of the square following the same logic. For me it is the best method to explore, the one that best avoids eating the TC and guarantees you not to lose exploration time. Although for a very early lame, going directly to the opposite side of our TC may be more effective.
