Nice tips!🥰🥰 Personally, I find it so hard to have confidence rn.. I was a size 38 EU (10 UK I think) and now I'm a size 44 (16), I gained about 15 KG ( around 33 pounds) this past year. I've tried dieting, like properly going to a especialist because it had worked for me before but Idk why now it isn't working and that makes me lose motivation. It's so frustrating because I don't recognise myself in the mirror.. I had to buy new clothes on purpose, and it's hard to find clothes my size that are cute and girly, tbh. It has taken such a toll on my confidence that I've let myself go in general, like I barely put on makeup anymore (only for special occasions), I didn't do it every single day before but often, I'm barely wearing my contacts (before I barely used my glasses outside), etc.. I know I shouldn't feel depressed but many days I feel so down I don't want to do anything, sometimes even crying because my clothes don't fit and I don't know what to wear to go to work, to go out... That on top of other stuff like stress from work, etc has taken a giant toll on me 😓

Aw thanks lovely!😘 I know exactly how you feel, I’m currently dealing with the exact same situation. I’ve put on the about same amount of weight and gone from a UK 10 to a UK 14 so I understand completely where you are coming from. It took me about 18 months to start feeling confident with my new body. It’s a long path and I know at times it does feel like you’ll never get that confidence back but I promise you will. I definitely recommend starting small with things such as once a week doing your makeup, starting painting your nails again, doing a few self care evenings. Starting new routines will overtime help you feel better. In regards to having to buy new clothes, I feel your pain, it’s annoying having a whole wardrobe you don’t fit and it’s expensive buying all these new clothes, very frustrating! Where have you been looking to find cute and girly clothes? It’s okay to feel down, and completely understandable, but remember your body is still beautiful, it’s just different to the body you are used to. It’ll take time to get used to it and time to learn how to love your new body, but you will get there! Just be kind to yourself during the process!🤍

@@SammyyAshleigh What a nice and thoughtful reply, thank you so much! 🥰 I really appreciate it because I don't have anyone that understands how I'm feeling rn. And your advice is really good, I should start doing those little things again, I tried starting with my skincare routine again, bought new products and everything, but it's difficult to keep going and not give up again. Regarding the clothes it isn't easy either, because as you said it is quite expensive, and during the sales it's harder to find sizes. I just bought a pair of jeans and a tweed skirt that I miraculously found in the Zara sales, one of those faux leather cream trousers from Zara as well and I got an &other stories skirt for Christmas. I struggle more finding bottoms because I'm definitely a pear shape hehe I feel like I'm like wearing a uniform because everyday I'm wearing the same jeans/trousers. Actually there's just 1 pair of jeans that barely fits me from before, because they were quite baggy and I had the waist tailored, I just cut the thread to uncinch it, and I can still wear it. But yeah everyday the same clothes over an over.. Thanks again for your kind words and encouragement ❤️❤️

My dm’s are always open lovely if you want to message me there💗 It’s really hard to not give up but if you do stop for a few days, try to get back into it again! It’s normal to have good days and bad days🥰 The sales is a good place to start because you’ll be saving money but I know what you mean with the limited size options! Try looking at Aline skirts and high waisted skater skirts, they’ll be really flattering for a pear shape. But you’re super lucky for finding the tweed skirt in a Zara sale!! Always here honey❤️❤️
