Loved hearing you talk about colour and actually finding your style without "starting from a neutrals palette" as the base advice! I have recently realised I've been trying to wear beige/black/white for years and they are straight up NOT FOR ME and none of my "neutral" vibes are those colours. For me, bright or navy blues and greys are the "neutrals" that I build from.

Yay, I’m tired of every blogger looking the same in neutral basic outfits. Ironically, since my style used to be a little funky, I am veering ever-so-slightly towards classic neutrals, but I will always want to break it up w/ a pop of color or pattern. My body type cannot pull off a neutral minimalist aesthetic (& I don’t like it anyways).

Sometimes your body type dictates your style. My style tends to be street style and that's because those styles look best on my athletic body type. If it was up to me I'd chose girly, feminine styles with lace and ruffles but those styles really make me look like a drag queen. 🤣
