I radically changed my study habits and it worked wonders, and I thank you so much. I can get into pretty much any Optometry school in the US with this score! :)

combining active recall and mind maps with the method of loci is an additional, powerful review tool. One can also just store their weakest 10% of topics in visual memory as a failsafe for big exams. Organization is key:)

Keep practicing. One thing I do is imagine a fridge in a Japanse style dojo with trees and other plants and the fridge turns into a slot machine. The numbers shift and I assign a memory to that number. To store it abd retrieve it. Ghats my cue I also stare into space as a visual cue. One the numbers have been selected I open the fridge and visualise the object in a scenario short movie or long movie or visual image of text. I use sound proprioception and humor and emotion to make it memorable. Then when I'm done I close the fridge slot machine goes back to 0. When I want to retrieve it I choose the numbers.

Update?
@onceinalifetime665710 күн бұрын
So here is the update guys... I realised that studying is not only taking the book and start reading straight forward. This also makes your study uninteresting and you start procrastinate. But having a broad idea about the topic, having it in the back of the mind while reading makes more sense. And I guess you all know what happen when things start making sense. So I definitely suggest to follow everything told by our beloved friend and make the things less frictional. And do ACT on whatever he told bcz we all know so many things but those will not be of use if we don't apply in real life.. so HAPPY STUDYING everyone.. ❤️

What would you suggest to a person who is perfectionist like can't move to other topic until last one is done to very much detail. It's waste of time but can't help doing the same. Like has so much to do(100s of pages) but stuck on page one. Because of the fear that what if questions are asked from the very detail. And questions are actually asked from very detail.
@Salim_Ahmed2 ай бұрын
Before I answer, I have a question to ask you - if you call yourself a perfectionist, could you list me 5 things you've done to absolute perfection (things that are actually important) This isn't an attack, it's a genuine question The idea of perfectionism is more of a psychological issue as opposed to an issue that can be solved with a few tips
@AcademicOvEracHieVer-gj2qq2 ай бұрын
@@Salim_Ahmed problem is that i start a thing and do the initial few concepts with perfection in my opinion like primming,making questions, previous year questios,find every type of questions related to topic pretty much everything. Then at the time of main topic i leave it because it takes too much time then i start another chapter and cycle goes on and i get done nothing. The problem is the conceptual questions asked like very detailed questions. Like you have to read 100 pages and you cleared your concepts but teacher asked you question from a random paragraph. On top of that sometimes you know the answer but you couldn't understand what was asked.
@AcademicOvEracHieVer-gj2qq2 ай бұрын
@@Salim_Ahmed and the thing is i have always been a A+ student with terrifying study techniques and i managed to get those because of my lecture retaining power(whatever i hear in lectures i understand for very long period of time like i remember what i studied 2 years ago but I can't remember what my teacher taught me a month ago because i didn't spend hours on that and syllabus is too much compared to it was 2 years ago) that helped me but now i feel stupid because i am trying to learn the same way and i pretty much grasp concepts but during exams it doesn't matter what you understood it's all about if you could learn and write facts.

@Salim_AhmedАй бұрын
Yep building some baseline knowledge is useful for sure, which is part of my other video on how to think faster As for making the matrices, I tend to make them towards exam season. So I already have some baseline knowledge to work with and know which topic belongs where. But if I know nothing about a few topics, then I’d make it just for those few. I think the main thing is don’t overboard with a massive list of topics at the start, just pick a few and put them into a matrix

Brother , God and Saviour Jesus Christ Loves You. And I want to Preach to You About Our eternity when we will leave this Life. We will Go either to Heaven or To Hell . See Brother we have all sinned and live in sin if we examine our life. And a Person really has fear of Death when our Death is near. And Bible Says all Sinners will Go to Hell . So How to Get out of Hell ? The Answer is That We have all Sinned and Condemned to Hell and we need The Saviour who can save us from Hell. The Loving God of Universe Became Man and was Born to Virgin Mary and His Name is Jesus. Jesus lived a Perfect Life that we couldn't live . Many people Know Jesus Died on The Cross to save us but they do know what it means. The wages of Sin is Death . And What Jesus Did was that You and I broke the Law and Jesus Paid the Fine on the CROSS . Means He Took our Death and On Third day Rose from The Death and Says to Everyone and Everywhere To REPENT OF THEIR SINS and BELIVE In Jesus and Get Saved . Brother I love You , But God loves You Infinity More. Humble Yourself to Him and Belive in What He did for You and Be saved from Hell. Our Life is Short in the World but the Gift of God is Eternal Life Through Christ Jesus our God and Saviour. No Other God is there but Only One God , The Triune God of The Bible who can Save You. Repent and Belive in Him. God loves You.
