Any tips on mixing a metallic with waterbased lacquer? I’ve got some silver Mixol and some colours just not sure about the ratio of metallic to colour. I’m looking to do something like a lake placid blue or ocean turquoise so I have the blue and green Mixols.

Here's a chart you can use. I simply add till I'm happy with consistency. I'll do 2 to 3 sprays so I go lightly till I'm happy. I can always add more images.app.goo.gl/zsLQF72SyHPfn1jn9

What’s the biggest advantages of doing one small area at time? I’ve never tried that since I’m afraid that the area between those areas are going to be more sanded and therefore show visible “lines”. Not sure how to describe it..

Thanks for asking. For me there is little to no pressure and I overlap. The sanding lines or areas are undetectable. When hitting it with the heavy cut compound everything thrn flows across the whole area. I have yet to see any noticeable separation.
