I see players going from right to left, or straight to either side when doing a lay up, does that matter or when do you just go for a straight line layup

Great question, depending on the time of layup forsure I would always try to crest Contact and go up strong, but there will be times where I say it’s fine to move your body around to get a better angle to finish

@@ashryil i figured just lay it up with the hand furthest away from the side you jumped on, so if you jumped on the right side of the hoop use ur right hand and left use ur left, making it a little harder for them to reach, only time you shouldnt do this is if they are already on that side then use opposite, in short just lay it up in a way where itd be the furthest away from their hand
