notes: aim at hip when driving with contact bump, shoulder down armbar, put body between defender and ball to shield the ball defender slides, explode, then when they slide back, counter (btb) bump step back pump fake into step through effort (play aggressively but still have tunnel vision)

dude thanks but what am i supposed to do if im skinny and most of my game comes from going around defenders in the air? how am i supposed to innitiate contact against some enormous dude in the paint?
@domination489211 ай бұрын
It’s easier for skinner people to initiate contact in the air because if the stronger person bumps you on the ground, they will win. Your goal is to jump BEFORE them and INTO them. That will eliminate their ability to jump, and they will have less power. Plus you get more freethrows
@domination489211 ай бұрын
If you have ever taken a physics class, you will know that Force = Mass * Acceleration. So if you have less mass, you better accelerate into them.
@TheRealClipit14 ай бұрын
Bulk up. There's more to the game than just skill. Size and strength plays a big role in what you're capable of. Perfect example being Giannis.
@DavidHall-zo8eg4 ай бұрын
Also work on your strength in the weight room as well as your stamina. Legs, core, and upper body workouts are a must along with proper warm ups. Because trying to do just work on skills and not your body can cause a serious injury if you're skinny. Now some guys genetically struggle to put on weight and gain muscle, but ignore what you look like and focus on the results of the goal you're trying to reach.
@DavidHall-zo8eg4 ай бұрын
Steph Curry is skinny and initiates contact on the ground and the air. Push offs like this video are showing with your arm in a chicken wing or tight to the video is what you need to do.
