Yvan is the man. The LT DA does indeed cut faster than the rotary. Down pressure with a rotary is not cutting, its digging into the paint unevenly

Micro-Marring is what I might have on my Brother-In-Laws black truck. I've been sick the last few days, and it is raining on and off, but I get a chance I might take the rotary to the truck tomorrow with the gold standard polish and red jeweling pad to see if I can clear up the paint after I did a 2 step 21mm DA correction. I really want to get the paint clear of all but the deep scratches, and even there I have added touch up paint or clear coat then 3000 grit sanded a few spots.
