Just started fishing a swing head a couple of weeks ago when the bass geek did a video on it and I have to say it's proving to be a great tool to add to ya arsenal.

Pointing-out the exposed rock-pile on the shoreline and identifying it as the same thing you're seeking below-surface was a great call. I have always wished that video-producers would do that because it provides a vivid image as to what can be expected. Your videos are highly informative and incorporate the use of electronics---something we all struggle with. Enjoyed this presentation.

Jonny you are just killing it! I watch a lot of fishing videos to learn how to bass fish and you are just doing it! Very clear and easy to understand. You put out some good content! Now I just need it to stop raining on my days off! Heading to Ozarks this Sunday, so hopefully I will bring home a winner! Thanks again!

Fantastic video! I love the swing head. I started using it about 2 years ago and it has almost replaced the C-Rig in my outings.

Another great learning video. Ive never fished a swing head jig. I ordered the jig heads and sizes to use this summer. Thanks for the teaching video and keep making these awesome fishing videos. I know if i incorporate all you video fishing techniques and electronic information into my tournament fishing i can win some bass club and local tournaments. THANKS for making em.

Whoa whoa whoa there! “Fairy Wand”?? Them’s fight’n words junior. 😂 Gotta keep at least one spinning rod in the arsenal. If not for anything else, a must have for drop shoting. IMO other than that...great video and explanations as usual. 👍🏻

Just a simply awesome tutorial!!! Very comprehensive and informative!!! You are an outstanding professor!!! Randy toooo!!! Keep up the gooood work!!! Love watching u guys!!! Tried ordering your channel from my cable provider, they don’t carry it. I told them you need to start carrying it or I’m gonna cancel cable. There is nothing on cable worth watching anyway.

A swing head is my main bait on Greer’s Ferry. I fish it normally with a zoom ultravibe speed craw in the cinnamon purple color. It always seems to help me put fish after fish in the boat.

Just getting into the academics of this - can't wait to get into next fishin season! I've been reading & watching videos like crazy on this and this was a super informative & well presented instructional video - amongst a very small group of THE BEST! First of yours I've run into, but won't be the last! Consensus I was getting was that the MH, longer rod seemed somewhat more forgiving, or bought some time for the rod to load up, whereas you feel good about the heavy action rod? Probably going with fc vs. the braid puts a H action back on the table? Interesting that your compromise with a faster gear ratio to "catchup to those fish" on those go slack/mushy bites was to go with the somewhat slower gear ratio in order to force yourself to slow down and maintain that bottom contact necessary to success. Great job!

Awesome video Jonny, I’ve been waiting on this one! The wobble head ended a 4 month skunking for me on a local lake, def my top 5! Side note:I went back out and threw a deep crank on that point you found for me during the 1on1... I can now say I have caught bass offshore!!!!!! Your a Jedi bass contour line whisperer lol!!👏🏻🤙🏻🤘🏻😎

I sweep it fishing deep and slow crank if I’m fishing it shallow..won a ton of money in the last 5 years with the VMC swing head.. Use braid with a 10’ fluorocarbon leader.. making long casts you get a better hook set with that set up..IMO

Another fine lesson taught and learned! Hey, my wife and I are headed to Table Rock after the 4th. What are some other good choices of lures that I might want to pack for this time of season. My son-in-law fishes a few tournaments there and really struggles. I would really like to catch a hog or two to rub it in, if you know what I mean lol. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you and keep up the great work you do.

@thegloriousfall5 жыл бұрын
Totally. I have them at my home lake and still catch plenty of big bass. You just have to use heavier line and be mindful of line fray. I use 15 # invizx like he suggests and just check every few casts in case I need to retie.
