love the videos mate. all the way from downunder. No trout in my area but im from South Africa and did plenty of trout fishing there then worked in Uk and obviously did trout fishing there. Loved it. Cant wait to go back to the Uk for a trout fishing holiday. Would be awesome to meet up with you for a day on the boat.

Well done Lindsay and Steve, like you both I had a terrific day on Thursday with the Buzzer. Only on the water for 4 hours and came off with an aching arm. It's the best sport in the world when all goes to plan. Tight lines , stay safe. Big Davie

These big easy to catch farmed rainbows are a doddle ,, why not try the wild lochs for natural brown trout and then see what it’s all about ,, great video all the same.
@lindsayiflyfish3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dougal, I have fished some wild lochs up the road, they are even easier! Nae fishing pressure and the fish are always looking for a meal ;-)

Great video 👍 I’d support your comment about fishing being willing to take a fly after having been hooked. I took a friend fishing at a small Stillwater and he hooked into a nice trout using a blue flash damsel. He hadn’t tied the fly on properly so promptly lost both fish and fly. First cast with another BFD and he hooked a fish only to find when he landed it that it was the same fish now with two BFD’s in its mouth!
@lindsayiflyfish3 жыл бұрын
That is awesome! I have had it happen once before where I got snapped of then caught the fish with my fly still in its mouth an hour or so later. What are the chances though!

Great video but in my opinion absolutely no place in fly fishing for using a bung….
