How to Fish Spoons for Trout.

Love the trout videos bro! Looks like your spoons are working good, need to get me a few. How do you like phenix rods and how do they compare to other high end rods like loomis and st croix? I was thinking of getting a st croix premier but those wood handles on the phenix rods keep drawing me in! Any thoughts?

Thank you john! Phenix Rods have worked out well for me. The customer service is pretty good. They have replace one rod that I broke but I think they charge for shipping after the first one. They are on the west coast so supply isn't an issue. It's a good value for the price points. All my bass stuff are also Phenix Feathers. They are also durable as I am hard on gear.

Just went to pinecrest I saw your videos on it and man are there a lot of fish there jumping rn in the morning and evening. I swear were millions of trout I had about 8 trout and 1 small mouth (my first ever) on a lure. I have a 34 second video if there’s a way of sharing to you?

Thank you bro! Use a clasp. No swivel. #0 or #1...if you tie direct you will break off. The edges are sharp. Tie to a clasp or a split ring. Not both. The action changes. Tight lines !
