I am so grateful that I was able to teach my son how to fish & hunt, living off the land just like my father taught me but the problem is, these days we don't have many fathers, we have baby daddy's and that is a HUGE PROBLEM. Not only for the young man but for the future of men in general.

So true, I'm actually on the opposite end of that spectrum as my 12 year old son lives with me and I have "my baby momma" lol. I grew up without a dad and God knows I cherished my mom rest her soul and she raised me with morals and gave me a great childhood, but I never had that male figure around and showed me first hand how important fathers are. In reality both parents are and in most cases it's the dad that walks away and males need to know we r as important as moms are.

We all must put God back into our life! This is what has happen here in America. We have forgotten our Christian values! Put Prayer back into our schools. When they took out prayer from schools this is when we all started to get messed up. It begins at the bottom. Our kids now days are mixed up. They are being told they are nether boy or girls! They are our kids not the Governments and we need to teach them right and put God back into their lives!! Make them sit at that dinner table each night and talk and pray to our lord and thank him every day we are here! These are just two things that are missing from our life’s! I'd agree to some extent, but ur too far on the points. Prayer in school, then u have to pray in all religions and sitting at the dinner table, unfortunatly the world doesn't allow it as everyone is working to keep families going. Parents need to connect with thier kids in a whole new way these days. These kids r advanced and so grown up and usually have no one to connect to when the parents and others r being too hard on them. We need to love them like Jesus wants us to and instead of being tough on them which worked in the 50s and 60s, but does not work now. We need to connect with them as a parent confidant. Times to be tough, but also times to just understand them like we wished someone understood us when we were kids.

My granddaughter couldn’t sleep last night, so at 1:30 in the morning I said “ let’s see what’s going on outside”. We walked around a little bit, I showed her Mars, Mercury and Saturn, and while we were watching the tree line for fire flys we both saw a shooting star. It was her first. Probably nine tenths of all our "stress comes from the fear of the unknown", I love the way Phil leads us back to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We have a beautiful spring garden growing we have fellowship with a small group of believers we pray for our county and our country and we take communion and sing hymns together.
