Got my 750X on Monday. It's such a different ride from my 2010 BMW F800ST. At 6ft I was a little concerned about the seat height, but I fit just fine. Love the wing mirrors too, I get a much better view than on my old bike. All around I'm a very happy camper =) Safe journey Terry, I hope the weather behaves itself for you.

@@terrysmith-NC750X - Will do. Gotta say I've found the suspension very hard compared to the BMW. We've got some pretty gnarly surfaced roads around here and today I felt I was looking too much at the road trying to avoid obstacles (raised drain covers, lumpy repairs, etc) than I normally would. I'm sure I'll get used to it =)

It does seem to get better, but whether thats it bedding in or me getting used to it I'm not sure. I'll provide more feedback after this week trip.

@@underwaterwatchesunderwater . Hi, watch Knox review re NC. I changed the fork springs at first service from new. The video is really informative from a seasoned bike reviewer. The Showa forks are ok on initial lump or hole in road, but a secondary hole/lump does bang the suspension if it doesn’t have time to recover.

@@colinbarber9324 - Thanks Colin, It was the Knox video on the NC and Terry's videos that finally swung me towards getting this bike. I'll see if I can live with it... If not, it's good to know there are options available. Ride Safe =)

Looking great Terry, sure a bit fiddly, but once in place, and cable tie trimmed….they look great and I know will work…..one thing Terry, I tried to fit my fender extender, but once I stuck it on, using clamps to keep in place, I really was concerned with the very very small clearance I had with the extender and the tyre, so with lots of contemplating….I thought, nope, not happy with this, I unstuck it……now I will wait until my bike goes into the garage for its first service, and get them to fit it using the screws, they can advise about the space between tyre and fender extender…..maybe I am being over cautious but just felt uneasy with such a tight fit…..anyway, safer travels, kind of you to mention me, thanks…great videos, keep them coming..cheers Karl

Handy having the cable tie fitting as its easy to remove now and again for a good clean around the outer seal.

Hi Terry enjoying all the videos that you are doing & some great mods to make it your own . Them fork guards look good . I was wondering if the dirt will still go over the top of the guards & on top the seal . I have seen the neoprene fork protectors yes they to use a zippy to secure them as well but they fit over the top of the fork seal & up as far as the lower struts it allows it to flex with the suspension. Keeping it all clean . Easy on with velcro easy off if needed. £15.00 on Ebay. Yes its very own preference just was thinking why do off ride riders use them as road grit & grime can still get into the seals . If not covered. Please keep the vidos coming the back seat video release brilliant . Thank you. Ro

Cheers Roland, I did think of fitting gaitors to the front forks and may still do that in the future. Only issue is you need to take the fork struts out the triple trees to fit them, plus they cosmetically may not be desirable. We will see, I'll have a look at the neoprene protectors, I discounted them initially as I wasn't sure if they would crease up with the fork movement, plus cosmetically not suit the bike. I'll keep an eye on the forks and post an update if I change to something else. If there's any specific you would likea video on let me know and I'll do my best. I hope to get some short ones done later this week. Thanks for the feedback it is genuinely appreciated.

I'm not sure Paul, but I think they are a universal fit as they are sprung at back. Did the ebay link I sent not work. I know the company I got them off had more than one set. If you can wait until weekend I'll see if I can find the correct set and send some links.

All years (2012 - 2023) of the NC700X and NC750X have 41mm forks, so any NC specific fork protector of this split-back design fastened with zip ties should work fine.
