thanks for the video i just ordered the brute force after caught someone stealing my bike the other night i had a disk lock on the front wheel and a chain around the back wheel to the shock they was dragging it out the front gate and i run out there and they dropped the bike and run so need a ground anchor now

Beefy-ish anchor but woefully thin chain. Pewag 12mm as a minimum.

Ye definitely, if you were only chaining up 1 bike a thicker chain would be great. I chain up 2 so that's about as big a chain as I could get to fit through the anchor twice, thanks for watching 👍

You might have to get creative with the grinder 😅 if the balls are in the hex's then as designed, it's not easy to undo...

Don't think it really matters, I like to do the front taught with the steering lock on so it means they couldn't even break the steering lock without having to cut my chain off! Good luck.

Back wheel. The front wheel is easily removed.

I dont understand the point because if they cut through your chain they can just pull it through the anchor?

There is nothing that can't be cut or broken in terms of motorcycle protection but it is definitely a deterant, hopefully it would take a thief much longer than without the anchor as in theory they could lift the bike away if it only had a chain around it whereas now they would have to remove it in some way to get away with the bike. My insurance stipulate it as a "must have" but I also fit a disk lock to try and make it harder again. Think that's all you can do. Thanks for commenting.

If you get a good chain, they can't cut it.....sometimes it's even better to put the anchor on the wall keeps chain off the floor and makes it harder to cut with chain cutters....

WARNING. Oxford seem to have redesigned the expansion plugs since this video, but sadly not changed their printed instructions. The new plugs are held together by a removable wire ring - but if you remove the ring before you have partially inserted the plug into your drilled hole, they fall apart and I can't figure out how to put the plug back together again. I’m really annoyed they’ve done this. I’m now screwed. Or not, as the case may be.

Cant the theif just bring the same screw as you and unscrew the bolts then carry the bike??

Did you watch til the end? That's why you smash the ball bearing in so you then can't undo it.

Whatever you feel best with, sometimes people end up drilling all over the place with a larger size drill lol.
