Back in the 90s I was going out with a young lady who drove a factory built van with a folding rear seat....it was so practical.....the young lady left me, but I have built a 72 vw variant, turned it into a van with folding rear seats.....got love there panel vans.....👍 keep up the good work.

Rob you’re so right I’ve got that conversion in my van it is terrible but it does the job Sams conversion I’ve never seen yet before we looked all over to see if someone had done this lots of work but I think it’s worth it

Tidy Wrk Sam, I had an early Bedford asta van, I bought it of mi pal who had done a conversion, with an 8valve asta GTE full recaro trim, Inc didgy dash rear seats full front end, sat on H and R springs, it handled better than the astra with the long wheelbase, nice job all cred, ps don't let collin catch ya in his pot noodle stash 😂

I had a mk4 van that came with rear seats that folded down flush to give you the full van floor space again ,am sure you can buy them to fit

Usually a common conversion for mk5 owners. If you really want to be fancy a set of Vectra B half leathers will go straight in the van I had a set in my mk5 Estate although I had to mod the base to fit

I feel your pain Sam i have had a few lads bring their vans and said can you stick the seats in the back of this Transit/Movano and Vivaro and they have said yeah they have came out of the same van seatbelts the lot been told they go straight in, like shite they do have to drop tanks to fit the anchor bolts for seats cut inner frames like you have to fit seatbelt fixings the lot and then they ring up an hour later saying is it done yet, f**k off i will contact you when its done, they think when they want get the parts that they are a straight fit and think all the holes and fitting are in their vans because they came out of the same van, They probably think NOT MY JOB, NOT MY PROBLEM lol

Did it to the wife's Vauxhall Chevanne back in 1981-3. Not as smart as you, just cut away the extended floor behind the seats, much easier than yours, only a dozen spot welds and it came out. Fitted the brackets and seats from a Chevette estate, no smart sound deadening or trim like yours. Did the job ... no need for seat belts .. until Jan '83 :)

I done that to my MK4 astra van but used a bench seat so it folded flat if you wanna sell that van let me know lol

Check your batteries got the right cranking amps if it has your battery could be getting weak try putting a new battery on it first I said battery quite a lot in this
